New JKF Group on YouTube

I discovered yesterday that you can setup groups on YouTube. As a result, I'm delighted to announce that we have set one up for you all to enjoy.

And even better news....Roy (R*Phillippines) has agreed to be the administrator of the group.

Roy, as you all know, has been doing endless promotion for the JKF all by himself and we are so very thankful. He also has one of the best Jewel Video collections to be found on the net, also on YouTube.

So as you can see, no better person for the job.

It is in its infancy right now as more videos are added to it. Please feel free to submit your own Jewel Videos to the group. The more the merrier.

Yep! You will need to register your own account and then you can upload videos to it.

Become a member of the group and you can add the videos in your account to the JKF group. It sounds more complicated than it is but it's very simple.

I'm gonna have to add to this too. Very cool idea!!! We can call this 'Operation JKF Newbie'....this will surely get more people here!!! So awesome.

I will be uploading some of the videos I have later this evening and tomorrow so watch out for some of them and I'm in the process of working out how to get the stuff I have recorded on my Sky+ box onto my PC.

I've got some goodies and snippets that aren't online that I would like to share. Anyone got any suggestions how to transfer DVD video into an MPEG so i can upload to YouTube?

I can work computers but video is far from my forte

Someone told me that it's easier if you convert the dvd to vcd, but i've never done that yet.
I can't think of easier way than connecting the dvd player to the computer, then capture the video and save. Then upload it.
It takes time though especially when you're capturing and editing the video.

If i can think of another way. then i'll PM you as sonn as possible.
