So What Can We Do?

Maybe I'm naive on the whole "how to get a song played" thing, but is there something we can do to have Stronger Woman continue to climb on the country charts? This has been her biggest single since Intuition, with every contemporary country station playing the song.

As you know, the songs airplay has slowed down. Maybe we need to organize some active effort to do call or email requests to major stations daily? I'd be more than willing to organize it. Each of us calling 5 different stations a day could have a huge impact. I know it's not all about request, but they help, alot.

With other songs, like Again & Again and 2 Become 1, I wouldnt have dared to call a station and request it. Most stations weren't play it. With Stronger Woman I feel like we have an advantage - every station is playing it, we just need to let them know that we like the song and would like to hear it more.

I believe in this song and this album. Perfectly Clear will debut at #1 on the country albums chart, and hopefully *fingers crossed* in the top 5 albums charts.

Call me corny, but I think she's done so much for us (even if you don't agree with some of the choices she's made.) Lets show her how much we still appreciate her, and how much we believe in her projects.

I think that's great. However, this one goes out to all the members living in the US. Given a chance, I would call 10x to request the song.

Yes, call requests do count!!! I think we should all band together and make some calls and send some emails!!! You can go to your local country radio station's website for their phone numbers & email addresses of their DJs. Let's harrass them like CRAZY to play Jewel's song!!!! ;-)
