Just curious which one you use the most.
I have just downloaded the new ad free Opera browser. I have never used it before anyway as I was put off by the ads but I am already liking it. I have used Firefox for a while now but chop and change between it and IE depending on where I am. |

Always been using Internet Explorer...but would'nt mind going for Firefox, i heard its better for browser settings etc...i.e such as it'll accept most picture posts within forums without having all those poxy red crosses all the time, and less adds apparently!? ....just going by all that i'v heard...a bunch of bolony it may be ;)

I'm on a Mac, and plus, I use AOL ( ) so, I use the AOL browser and Safari (the Apple browser, which btw, kicks any other browsers butt!!) and I think the AOL browser is an ancient version of IE, but im not sure.

Marc, Firefox has many good points. It is exactly as you said and also, less likely to be hit with Spyware and Viruses than IE. I do find it a bit slow and has a couple of fiddly points. I still use it though, especially when testing graphics and for regular websites I visit. But I sometimes get a bit frustrated with it's slight picture load lag but that's just coz I'm a bit fussier.
I have always like the potential of Opera but really, the whole ad banner crap just put me off. Now that they got rid of that (with the exception of Ebay Comparison bar and Amazon Search bar) my firewall hasn't even bugged me once. Big change from IE! It is also very fast and loads in nano second speed. I'm sure it would benefit our dial-up members. I will see how I get on using it a bit more. |

I think I've decided to myself I can't justify ?900 on an iMac G5. What I'm probably going to do instead is spend a few hundred on a cube PC instead :)

Just know that you cant upgrade your cube PC. If you want to improve anything like your sound card, graphics card etc, there will be no slots to put them. Everything is onboard
