My husband bought me a Jewel book on Ebay the other day....and he said that included in the seller's Ebay store that shows up as "similar items" were a bunch of lesbian themed books. I thought that was interesting, but didn't really make sense to me. What's up with that? I'm a straight married woman...

It must have something to do with the whole Lilith Fair thing. Everyone thought or assumed it was a big lesbian bash, but I think mostly it was about the strength of women. Not that I ever went to it, but that's what I gathered from the info I've heard about it. It's really no different than when they have OzzFest and it's a bunch of guys moshpitting, hitting, and punching each other in the mud, usually with their shirts off. No one thinks that's a gay guy thing.
Apparently the assumption is that if you're in touch with your feelings and introspective, you must be gay. Such prejudice....people are so ignorant and sterotypical it's annoying, isn't it?

I think If you like Jewel and you a guy 9 out of 10 times your gay
The Real Gay guys.. tend to like Jewel for the way she expresses herself. They can relate to her because of what she says in her songs. I consider Jewel a real gay idol unlike the fake ones (Cher, Madonna , Gwen Stefani, Britney) Who are the flamboyant gay guys idol |
