Andrea, do me a favour, don't use the words SHOCK THERAPY. I have my own reasons.

Are people really being honest when they use that phrase?

Eh I suppose the letter thing could work but he won't be there much longer so I think I can put up with it for now.
Yeah, when people say this all the time it makes me wonder if anything else they're saying is honest!!!!

Or how about when people open a statement by saying "No offense but" or "In all due respect"? If those words begin a sentence then they lose me there.

There's someone I work with that over uses the phrase 'In all honesty' all the time. Even when there really is no contextual reason for it. She's been known to both start and end the same sentence with it. 'In all honesty, I think those figures should be higher, in all honesty'

In all honesty, I think I'm going to punch her one of these days

Oh, well, maybe you need to have some more shock therapy then? or perhaps a frontal lobotomy?

Sometimes I stick my fingers into the electrical outlet just to relieve tension... I've been doing it almost semi annually since I was 9.

you know.. it just might.. my parents tried to get me to stop doing it but I just like it too much.. I also like touching my tongue to 9-volt batteries. Sometimes it gives you that tingle when it wouldn't be socially acceptable to put your fingers into a socket.
