ya, I grew up drinking the river water at our camp up in the mountains, so...I just think it's funny how people will get all grossed out by fast food, I mean have you heard some of the horror stories about "real" restaraunts? like, melting down the used butter and filtering out the crumbs etc to reuse it...

See, I don't even eat out all that mmcuh, in fact, I rarely eat out, when I could cook what I want at home, and know that I'm cooking it to my specifications, know what I mean?

Theh reason I don't eat out is exactly why you just said, the conditions of a lot of 'chain' restaurants are quite rough. but then again, I'll eat anything. Your talking to a guy whose favourite dish is scrambled eggs and ham, anytime day or night. I'm not that hhard to please. That, in fact, was the joke of my family for years, they all said for me to have a perfect wife she'd only hahve to know how to cook scrambled eggs and make sauce bernaise.

I find modern restaurants with the 'speciale de chef' grueling. They probably take lower quality cuts of meat and cook them in butter and cover them with a sauce or something to disguise the quality of the meat.

However, when I do eat out, which isn't often, I'll eat at my friend's restaurant, where they know me and take care of my fare(charging me abnormal amounts of money for Dover Sol or a decent filet, but it is what I expect from his place, so....)

Well i do think fast foot outlets are more focused in more 'poorer' areas than in other affluent neighbourhoods, and with this increasing 'obesity' crisis the media keep jibbering on and on about haha!
I still think its utter skank nosh...and nobody can convince me otherwise, because fast food shops are not a cheap way to eat, there a complete rip-off in value. If you want to eat cheaply go to your local supermarket and buy fresh food and cook it at home. Thats where the value is.
either way...no-one is forcing people to go into fast food sweat shops, it's pure laziness and lack of imagination i say.

NO MAN! Jamocha! It's a coffee flavoured milkshake, and it is GREAT! It's like getting a sweeter version of a Frapuccino, just mixing better and sweeter.

umm, on The Apprentice a couple years ago one team came up with coffee and donut flavored ice cream in their ice cream challenge...

never heard of donut milkshakes though
