Favorite Chocolate brand?
Let's talk about your favorite chocolate brands.
I love Joseph Schmidt.... my favorite has to be the chocolate bowls, which are too beautiful to break and eat but it's even better to taste it..... here is their site: http://www.artisanconfection.com/stores/josephschmidt/ But I also love wafers sandwiched with chocolate.... Hanuta comes to mind. site: http://www.germandeli.com/ferhanhasdop.html Share your chocolate treasures! |

Since I grew up right here, I have to say the Hershey Dark Chocolate, or Milk Chocolate with Almonds. But chocolate isn't usually my drug of choice. :-P

What I love best, is Cadbury chocolate brand with almonds. Just writing about this topic , makes me want to buy from the store right now, as in, after this period (.)

Oh I really like Lindt chocolate. The 70% cocoa solid variety. I am not a big fan of chocolate actually and the rare occasions I do have it, I only like a small amount and I like it to be the good stuff!
I do make a mean devil's chocolate cake using the Lindt 70% chocolate. It's really rich and gooey. Though I haven't made it in a very long time. In terms of just everyday normal chocolate bars etc, I like really plain things. Not sure if you all know what Double Deckers are but they have chocolate and nougat and they are really yummy. |

Milka is my wife's favorite (but not mine... too milky). We have to go to a German store to find it.
And as for Lindt, yes, it's good! It's healthy to eat 70%+ cocoa, so it should be part of your daily diet, right? (just nod yes). Have you guys ever had Japanese chocolate? They're not as sweet as the American chocolates, and as with anything Japanese, they're always packaged nicely. And then there's the Hawaiian Host premium chocolates from Hawaii (you can get them at the airport in Oahu). I don't like macadamia nuts, but they go so well with chocolate. The good news is that there are more stores out there that are selling imports. Isn't this a great time for chocolate lovers? |

We get Milka here which is nice. When I was a kid, you couldn't get it here except when people brought it back for you from their holidays abroad.
