It's a company that provides telecommunications such as phone and broadband. Most people here are on Eircom who practically have a monopoly on the market. BT is growing but it's not so common to find someone on BT Broadband right now which is why I was surprised. They took over an Irish company called Esat so they're still finding their feet in Ireland.
