I wrote this when i was 14 years old. I was still in high school then.I hope you'll enjoy reading it.

"The OLD MAN and the MONKEY"

Green leaves from far away, grow in the desert
Burning stones of clay, fold with loaded dirt

There's an old man walking endlessly
He walks, he runs, not knowing his destiny.

Raindrops fall hard, tall trees cut apart
The sun didn't shine from north to south

There's a monkey wanting to break free
It plays, it climbs, then it broke its knee.

Flowers are dying, typhoons, flooding everywhere
The moon is fading, the stars are crying, universe beware

The old man is alone, he has nowhere to go
The monkey is wise, it tricks and quickly goes.

Their path had crossed along their journey
The old man was lost and tired, he saw the monkey

"I am lost, where am I?" the old man asked
The monkey replied, "I broke my knee, please don't ask."

Then the wind blew so hard, all of a sudden
They've heard a voice coming from heaven

The old man and the monkey both listened
From not a stranger voice coming from heaven

"Go together, be a guide to one another."
"Don't fool, don't fight, but instead love each other."

As the voice faded out, the old man and the monkey united
Then the sun shines back, they both felt like heavenly lifted.

The raindrops fall not hard no more
The moon and the stars smiled as they never before

As you see the connection, between the old man and the monkey
Go find your salvation, as you find your destiny.
