Yeah, the title pretty much says it all. Where would you go if you could go anywhere in the world?

Me... I'd love to go to Australia. :) Not for the reason you guys probably think though, but I actually have relatives in Oz. Most of us didn't know about them until the Spring of 1998 and everyone met them (well, just my uncle, aunt and cousin) when they came to visit the following Summer. I would tell you the whole complicated story, but basically, when my papow (that's southern for "grandfather" ;)) was in World War 2, he had to go overseas. He eventually met a woman, she got pregnant, he was confused and didn't know what to do so when he could come back home, he did. She, of course, stayed there and raised my half uncle while my papow raised a family of his own. My papow only told a select couple of people about what happened and when my uncle got old enough, he started searching for him. Of course, he finally found him, they exchanged emails and they planned their trip here. They're really nice people and I love the Aussie accent. :) They were supposed to come back down for Thanksgiving in 2001, but after 9/11, they were scared to. :( I don't blame them though.

So, where would you guys like to go, and why? I'm just curious. :)

there's lots more places i'd like to go, but then i'd be listing most of the country except justin's backyard...that'd be creepy...lol

Well i went to Morocco in December (for xmas) and i loved it, it may be a muslim country but they are really nice caring people, and when you are a visitor in there country they treat you as one of them. Im going back in 4 weeks!! mainly to look at buying a property there, but also to get back to the casino's lol.

Ive been to Warsaw in Poland and Geneva in Switzerland, both are nice, but if i could go anywhere it would have to be New Zealand....oh well perhaps one day.

I would love to have a european tour...*sighs wistfully* However mostly I am in love with the idea of visiting Finland to meet my relatives there; London; Ireland...not sure what part yet; Norway, because the mountains and fjords look so pretty, and Italy and France...as for inside the U.S., I would really like to go to New Orleans, esp. after reading so many Anne Rice novels. Oh, and I definitely want to go to Alaska. Guess I had better start a travel fund...

I'd love to go to Germany...maybe some other places in Europe...maybe because of the food, a few sights, but not too much walking...anyplace tropical and exotic--anyplace with palm trees. I've been to Dominican Republic, and twice to Florida, and loved both trips. I've been to New York too--a lot of walking around. I'd just rather sit on a beach and do nothing.

But at the moment I'd most like to go to Antigua.

I would also love to go to Europe. I've been over most of the US mainland, Hawaii, Canada, and a little in Mexico. I'm too chicken to go to the mideast, but I think I could do Europe. I would especially like to see The British Isles, France, and Italy. I like art and architecture and Europe certainly had allot more interesting architecture than most cities in the western US.

There are loads of places I would love to go but the main places are New Zealand, Prague, Egypt, Venice and New York. I'd say New Zealand would be my favourite out of those choices but in the cooler months instead. I have relatives who run Kiwi farm there so I already have somwhere to stay. They send home videos every Christmas so I have been fascinated about the place my whole life.

This is really strange, the people from the US. want to visit Europe, the Europeans want to visit the US, or just about anywhere than here lol.

Honestly, you Americans, Canadians dont know how lucky you are. Europe (im speaking for the UK) is :mooner: - pants!!

London is rubbish, the weather is always raining and grey, and we queue up for everything and everything....Englands national pastime IS queueing!

perhaps it fits the idea that the grass is greener ( and more interesting ) on the other side, or in this case other continent or country :P

Another example is the people who live in Hawaii. What a beautiful place, but do you know what the number one travel destination for Hawaiians is? Las Vegas. Go figure.

i don't really always think it's the grass is greener on the other side... we hear stories about these places and wish to visit them b'c they are different than we are used to....as for london....yah it's old - but it's got some magnificent history behind it and that's what makes it attractive - that and the architecture :) and no......not jack the ripper! :hammer:

I like living in America, but I like to travel to see what other places are like. Just because I would like to spend a week or two there doesn't mean I want to move. It's just nice to see where other people live and experience their culture for a little while. When I've traveled for two weeks away from home it's sure great to get home. I miss my home, family, and friends too much if I go for longer than that.

I'm born in and live in Canada - and love it.

Been to the US, to Germany, I've lived for a while in Austria, Switzerland and the land of my ancestors, Hungary when it was still under communism.

It's mostly good! Some parts of the US I've been to have been very depressing and discouraging, I've seen too much poverty, social degradation and apathy in poor parts of Washington DC, Cincinatti, Buffalo, Newark and other cities.

I've lived in some of the major cities as far west as Saskatoon.

I'd love to explore rural parts of Russia, Scotland and especially Ireland. Then I've love to live in a motorhome and travel to every small town and village throughout all of Canada.

I'd go to the bottom of the Ocean. I cant swim actually, but I think it would be cool.

Think of all the undiscovered things! Who knows, there could be a portal from Earth to a far, far galixy!
