Oh dear one of our memebers wants to make clones of themselves to play around with. Is that considered Incest...

Kiera and I are going to have a wonderful time at my dinner. Ironically when I go to Ireland this year we are deft meeting up so we can show everybody lots and lots of pictures of us gettting drunk together..

On a side note i wish i could invite all you to a dinner. Cept i dont cook I am suprised noone invited Rachel Ray to cook

I forgot about John Mayer... but I don't know enough about him as of now to want him to be one of my ten people. But I am seriously getting into his music..

WHAT!!! How can you not know much about John Mayer. He is waiting on the world to change and he is bigger than his body and your body is a wonderland. I summed it up right there...

Oh and he's getting Nick Lachey's sloppy seconds (jessica)

Already looking forward to it though I'll most likely be 'watching' you get drunk. I rarely drink and when I do, it's rarely more than a glass of wine or a skinny Vodkola but hey, I'll buy ya a round or three! Gotta get you some Vitamin G.

01. Jesus Christ
02. Charles Darwin
03. DaVinci
04. Mozart
05. Abraham Lincoln
06. Joan of Arc
07. Amy Lee
08. Jewel
09. Conan O'Brien
10. Stephen Lynch

Well... there's my list in no particular order. I didn't really want anybody from my family... I love them, but I eat with them frequently already. This would be a special dinner party for me I must say.

HA HA HA, So Kiera buying me rounds of alchohol that is so thoughtful. This one 40 year old guy bought me drink after drink at the hotel bar in where the hell was I. Was it Clifden or something like that anyway yeah me thinks he was trying to take advantage of me but better judgment told me to get to my hotel room as soon as i could. Nicole would not answer the text messages i was sending her so almost a really bad situation. However i got away but he was quite a charmer.
The worst part is I cannot remember his name but he was roginally from the cork area staying at my hotel for the weekend.

Anyway, I'm not a big drinker but hell if your buying then. LETS PARTY!!!!!!

It's not the best display of his talent, I agree. But all the other songs I give like 500 stars! WHere is Jessica and Robbie when I need them?

Oh he sang 'Your Body is a Wonderland' too? Didn't know that. But that song annoys me. I know it is inoffensive and all but it just seems 'drippy' to me. Nothing amazing about it and seems bland to listen to. I suppose he just isn't my kind of thing but I don't mind him. Just wouldn't go out of my way to listen to him or buy his stuff.
Put it this way, I wouldn't change the radio station if he came on.

My 10 would be:

Jewel (of course...)
Lene Marlin (Mysterious singer I'd love to know more about)
Darren Hayes (For music value)
Sarah McLachlan (To play the piano while everyone sits around)
Gil Grissom (only fictional personal... a great mind)
Zach Braff (We can talk about the film of my life)
Alan Davies (So funny)
Paul Merton (So funny)
Monika & Joe (A great friend and her b/f)

Oh jeez! I've been pondering thihs question all of my life! Whoh would I invite to dinner, only 10....HMMMM........

First would be (if I could) I would bring back my father to his earlier years when I was young(er). I'd love to hahve a quiet dinner with him again. WIshed I'd have had maybe one more with him. He's my number one, and I love and miss him dearly forever. "Boy's best friend is his father." (His addage.)

Second, Jewel, obviously! I'd like to have her over to talk music, and how much she's revolutionized my humanity, and gave me emotions....the woman who gave me feeling when I was numb, and the person whose voice wakes my soul and opens my mind to theh world. Plus, she could make her cherry cobbler and sing with her guitar. What better evening would a man ask for? Except possible dance to "La Vie En Rose", or some other of my favourites on the playlist. (Maybe I'm walking on a bridge too far here, but hey, that's the concept of fiction!)

Third, (for all you out there in the British Isles), Admiral Lord Viscount Horatio Nelson. A master and commander, experienced tactitioner, and a man of Britain's only hope, a true hero and a godsend. Besides the military talk, we could have a tot of grog during the festivities.

Fourth, Al Pacino. Come on, who doesn't need a little screaming at the dinner table.

Fifth, Ian Fleming. I just want to invite him to dinner because their would actually be a true genius at my table, and we use the same shirtmaker (Turnbull and Asser, London).

Sixth, if he existed, I would want to invite (agaian, fictional) James Bond to dinner, because I could learn so much from one of the main influences of my lifestyle, and idol. Thaat would be only described as 'surreal'.

Seventh, Osama bin Laden, so I could remand his sorry self and give him over to the authorities, only after I punished him. If anybody deserves punishment but never death, merely lifelong torture, it's that sorry son of wicked beast. (I'm really geting creative trying to bleep out my thoughts here! Apologies.) But, I'd be the man of the night, or at least the hour.

Eighth, Sean Connery. YES, I SAID IT! Sir Sean Connery. A man of all man, creator of virtuous masculinity and leader of the male race (if such a thing exists, I just thought it sounded noble of him). Either young or old, Sena is the man! He oozes chharisma.

Imagine that, if I hung out with Sean COnnery at my house, i could get any girl in the world to date me, just say, "Hey Sean Connery's over, you wanna stop by?"

Ninth, and this sounds kiddish, but I grew up on it, Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice. Just on general prinicple and the fact that he's another woman's man who could teach me so much about how to be a toughguy.

Tenth, the final one, Johnny Cash. A man I grew to love, hihs music was so true, yet so depressing, every song makes me want to cry. I'd just hope he wasn't getting high during dinner! Imagine, Johnny and Jewel singing together, thaht would be something else!

Of course, I'd be wanting to do the duet with Jewel!

Now, this is off theh chart, but what would be served for dinner? I know, I know, everyone would want an extravagent diner, in wich I could spend pages writing about. But, quite simply, my hhouse, my guests, my dinner. My favourite meal, (this will sound absolutely looney, but it's my choice) scrambled eggs (five per person) with plenty of real Virginia ham. The eggs, lightly scrambled, served on buttered white toast. Ham served warm, and to wash it down would be a chilled Bollinger RD, preferrably 95 or 61 if possible, though rare.

(A note on the eggs, the recipe I use is found below:

For ten individualists:
45 fresh eggs (this dish is meant to cooked seperately, not actually 45 eggs in a dish!) Meaning five eggs per individual. Only 45 will be needed, as Osama would not be present to enjoy the meal, but instead remanded into custody of the State Police Department
Salt and pepper
5-6 oz. of fresh butter. (Per serving of five eggs for each individualist)
Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat thoroughly with a fork and season well. In a small copper (or heavy bottomed saucepan) melt four oz. of the butter. When melted, pour in the eggs and cook over a very low heat, whisking continuously with a small egg whisk.
While the eggs are slightly more moist than you would wish for eating, remove the pan from heat, add rest of butter and continue whisking for half a minute, adding the while finely chopped chives or fines herbes. Serve on hot buttered toast in individual copper dishes (for appearance only) with pink champagne (Bollinger) and low music(preferably a Jewel album).

Another note on the eggs, I live basically with a twice daily egg based diet. Scrambled (prefferred), poached, fried, baked, raw in a glass, I know every way to eat an egg. So long as the scrambled eggs are perfect, I love 'em, and I've kept the chickens constantly busy all over the world!)

Back to dinner and off the eggs. With brilliant minds on hand and wonderful conversation, and of course, the eggs, it would be the perfect night, and I'd never be lonely with those memories ever again. Then, for that one eveing, I would be eternally grateful and could die happily.

Just my story, any comments?

I would love to meet Jewel one day in my life! Its a real big dream of me=). Ive already written that i would tell her how much her music means and inspires me. I would also ask her for a guitarlearninghour ^^, or where she learned to be so selfconfident (i totaly admire how much she can laugh about herself) and hope shes a little bit joking around like she makes it on her concerts. It would be amazing if i could give her a present, i would write her a letter and give her a cd of my ownwrittensongs on my keyboard. besides other people i like to meet are amy lee, vanessa carlton & maybe shannen doherty.
