10 people you'd invite to dinner
This thread I think vanished during the August incident. So I thought I'd bring it back up. I can't even remember who I said I'd invite back then.
But here's the question. If you could invite 10 people (living or dead) to dinner. Who would they be and why?

He just rocks) Fox Mulder (coz he's a brilliant mind) My maternal Grandfather (he died in 96 - he was great and I miss him) My Mother in law (She died before I met Peter but I would love to have met her. She sounds like a very special person) Jennifer Aniston - I just like her and think she'd be endearing. My Husband Thomas Kinsella - My favourite poet Well that's how I feel right now anyway. I can't remember who I said the last time. Thanks for bringing it back Gary ! |

Ok I change mine. How could I have been so selfish.
1. Jewel 2. Kiera 3. Dave hehe rawr j/k 4. Gary 5. Christie 6. Andrea 7. My Late Grandfather Casey (my middle name) I'd ask him a ton of questions, such as is he proud of the man I've become today, and why he choose to "adopt" my mom and her brother (not legally) and how exactly did he come across them in his life, I'd ask him about his life too, he was in a orphanage when he was younger, he was in the war, and then his birth mother was sick and he paid all her medical bills and I just wonder why? and how he found the strength to go on in his life, he used to visit and stay at the Drake Hotel and let me stay with him...fun times and i'm rambling on 8. God 9. Jesus 10. Ok I've been sitting here for five minutes and can't think of anyone Gary, where's your list?

1- My wife, Laura (b/c I always want her by my side)
2- Jewel (Yeah ok no explanation needed) 3- Henry Rollins (Because he just rocks and I value his opinion above most people's) 4- Aimee Mann (I would want her to sing for us and then I'd want that duet with Jewel I've always dreamed of) 5- Patty Hearst (I just want to be in her presence and talk to her) 6- PT Anderson (So I could get some filmmaking tips from him as he is my fav director) 7- Alfred Hitchcock (for the same reason's as PT, and he ties w/ PT as my fav director as well) 8- Sarah Michelle Gellar (just to be there and to smile and maybe say some Buffy lines) 9- Johnny Cash (I'd love to talk to him and I'd love to hear him sing with Jewel or Aimee or both) 10- Jerri Blank/Amy Sedaris (I think they might be one in the same b/c Amy is crazy haha) and Kiera I actually remember you putting Mulder, Dalai Lama, Homer, and your mother in law the last time we did this.
