Now to answer your pathetic question: Holes are in mints for a reason, they allow a constant air flow which in turn allows you to breath in whilst at the same time a sucking and licking motion is taking place. Without the hole you would simple run out of Oxygen and die.

Its simple but its true.

My advice would be to make sure that your tongue stays far away from the hole within the mint whilst controlling the tongue mussles. Failure to do so could result in the tongue getting permanently stuck within the confines of said hole.

For your information, the life saver mint of course has a hole such do life saving rings for people drowning.

Its very simple advice, even YOU can grasp that one Phil
