:P When you did that tatoo with India Ink and a sewing needle, did it fade away after a while, or become less visible, and if so how long did it take? Thanks..
umm, well the one i did on my toe faded, but that was mainly i think because-thank god-i didnt get the ink in deep enough, the one i had on my hand didnt completely set for the same reason--not inking deep enough, but the parts that i did far enough under the skin were still there when i had it covered several years later...so if you plan to do one that way, make sure it is somewhere you can hide it, unless you are very good at it as for LOTR, i have always been more for the elves and rohan side because the elves have such wonderful clothing (great ideas for medieval re-enacting) and the rohans have all the horses and the celtic/viking designs, plus i really like eowyns clothes, have you ever read The Dark Tower series by Stephen King? it has the same type of idea to it as the LOTR, i love it, those are my two favorite series

ohhh dude, you should really give the dark tower series a shot, i dont think you would regret it. i am also an avid king fan, but this series isnt quite the same as his other books, it's nt a horror type, more of an epic quest type like LOTR. since i have been reading it again, it really puts in my mind the idea of getting a rose tattoo... :dunno: :read: but i will have to work out something more interesting than just a rose-rose

wow andrea, i had the greatest idea for a tattoo, since we like nature type stuff! what is it andrea? well andrea, how about a realistic fern leaf, done in green, that would be so pretty! almost as cool as that peacock feather you designed! ya, that would be pretty neat! i like it when i agree with myself!

:dunno: ^_^ from the general theme of your posts, you lead me to wonder if you are ever aware, or if you party a wee bit too much ;)

lol, i'll take your word for it!
so here is a question for all of you:: ~What is the coolest/most meaningful tattoo you have seen? i think one that meant the most to me was this one my uncle Eric had, it was on his chest and it was a picture of me when i was little and my great grandfather and we were toasting, i think it said cheers under the pic, but i don't remember. it always meant alot to me that he had that done, he died of cancer the year before last.
