No we've decided to get a big surprise! I work in clothing and that includes baby clothing etc. I get access to a lot of free clothes, especially for babies and kids and so it would be easier for me to know whether we're having a boy or girl for that reason.

But that isn't enough for me. I'm just going to stock up on all the 'universal' colour stuff, white, green, cream, yellow. I'll be taking some boys and girls stuff too and whatever I don't use, I'll send to the charity shop. I've already gotten some lovely newborn clothes from work. They're all so cute that I can't wait to see my baby in them.

Kiera, what wonderful gift you have, a gift of motherhood . I was imagining our Jewel will soon have a baby. But not yet for her but its for you. Congratulations to you and Peter. I would like to express this joy through this simple free verse poem for tomorrow you will see your bundle of joy, our first JKF baby This is for you, Kiera.

THIS IS MY SONG
BY :Greenpoet 05/02/2007

People spend a lifetime to find their dreams
But I won’t find the answers at the stars
I will chase the darkness and light you in my arms
I will cover you with my warm embraces
I will find you in every beat of your heart.

How I long to see your lovely smile
How I love to hold you in my arms
Your tiny hands to mine
Your head upon my shoulder
When you start to cry

I hear the melody coming inside of me
This is my song, my lullaby for you.
You’re a gift from heaven above
You’re closer to heaven
Listen to the magic in your heart

This is my song
You are my song
I found my dreams in you
And soon you will find the greatest love alive.

thats awesome Kiera. Laura and I decided long ago to not find out what sex our children are going to be. I just think it's more traditional and the moment at the hospital when you find out has to be awesome. Plus I love green so green and yellow will work for us

I really wish I could get pregnant. Yeah I know I'm a guy but I'm kind of jealous that women get to go through the joys of childbirth because it is such a beautiful thing. All men get is the 3 minutes of joy it took to make the baby. Well if we even last that long. Haha you probably all think I'm crazy now.

In all honesty, I'm 99% fed up right now. The sickness and tiredness are really getting me down. You'd never want that....trust me. It is not what I thought it was going to be, at least...not yet anyway. I'm still waiting for it to get to the 'enjoyment' stage.

Don't get me wrong, I already love my unborn child to bits. I think I've loved this child for years already as I've been very broody for a very long time. But in saying that, I had this idealistic idea of pregnancy and even seen many friends and family go through it but in reality, you just haven't got a clue what it's like unless you're actually pregnant. I really am surprised.

I am just so fed up with being sick so much. I'm already 12 weeks and they say it's usually over by around now. I guess I'm just getting impatient.

Please God, Please let me get over all of this....like....yesterda!!! Pretty please?

The sickness I'm sorry to say can go the whole pregnancy. But it does become barable when you can also feel the baby moving inside of you. That was always the turning point for me even when I was uncomfortable those moments could turn it around. That is what you'll remember most when it's over. The same goes for the pain of childbirth. It sounds crazy but you forget most of the pain when you hear that first sound from your child, by the time their around 2 you start missing the baby things and if you don't watch it that's when the baby bug gets you again.

I know! I got loads of large ladies clothing yesterday to wear when I get my bump. They're gorgeous that I can't wait to wear them. Although, the company I work for don't do "maternity" clothes, the ones I got are fine though. They work as maternity clothes too. I'm already breaking out of a lot of my clothes so I'm looking for more loose fitting clothes.

It's a great perk though, absolutely. I'm lucky in that respect, definitely.

But by far, it's the baby clothes that I love. They're so adorable.

Hey, I was looking at the picture again, and it kinda looks like Casper... the friendly ghost!!! Anyhoo, I was thinking that wouldn't be a bad name for a boy or a girl.

Heh, JK
