Having lost her pregnancy over the summer, an emotionally unstable Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) convinces Eric (Stephen Collins) to let her deliver the Sunday sermon, but she ends up publicly blaming Kevin (George Stults) and everyone in her family for what happened. Meanwhile, Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) expresses his romantic intentions to Sandy (Haylie Duff), who may still have feelings for Simon (David Gallagher, who doesn't appear in the episode), and tells her that he wants to spend more time with her and their infant son. Sandy reveals that she has recently switched majors and wants to become a minister, a prospect that upsets Lucy who feels like Sandy is intruding on her turf. Jewel makes a cameo as the Camden's neighbor whose voice lulls Savannah (Alyssa Yadrick) to sleep every night. Catherine Hicks and Nikolas and Lorenzo Brino also star. (09/25/2006)

I have no idea if 7th Heaven is still aired here in terms of new episodes. I know repeats are shown on Irish TV all the time but I'll have to see if I can track down any new episodes.

This is great logic. She must have put a lot of thought into this because it turns out the cameo appealed very much to the viewers of stupid and pointless viewers of 7th Heaven.

Im not sure of the guys name but this guy goes to the neighbors house who keeps playing this music at night (which is jewel singing) He goes to the door to ask her ot sing for the baby and she basically had a little bit of an acting skit AS HERSELF she said she was coming to the dooor. Then she continued to say she was Jewel she was staying at this persons house while she wokred on some stuff in the studio then she was asked to sing that song she sang at night which was the chours to good day

I found that on youtube this morning so anyone who didn't get to see it it is there. I don't like the way theyuploaded it they have jewel then they have another clip of the closing with just her song. Would of been so much easier if they put it together

I don't think it was all that cheesy.... I mean the whole show is based on cheesy stuff like that, she was only following what the director told her to do, I think it was kind of nice actually...

Oh please don't get me wrong, I think Jewel did a great job herself! But it's the 7th Heaven set was such a cheesy one, clearly a set and the whole theme of why they got Jewel to sing was a bit cheesy too.

But that has nothing to do with Jewel herself. That's down to the people making and writing the show.

I am delighted that she did it. I just hope they don't cut this out of the one they show in this part of the world (like they did with Extreme Makeover:Home Edition Grrr)

Would have been cool promo for her though. But yeah, a bit rude. But if I did ask Jewel to sing to my baby, I'd ask her to do it where the baby sleeps not through closed doors and walls. That house must be made of paper if it was real.

what song would you want jewel to sing to your baby? that's a tough one... I can say it would probably be something from Spirit...Life Uncommon or Hands I think, for me...

I still sing Little Bird to babies when I am looking after them. I have done so since I first heard it. I think it's the best one to sing to babies when they are going to sleep.

I have looked after a looootttt of babies and this has never failed to work. I sing other things to get them asleep too but this is very effective. Can't wait to sing this to my own kids.

I never really put much thought to it, but I suppose when I have a baby, I will keep a cd player in the nursery and play jewel songs for him/her :) hey they say it's good to play music through the mother's stomach while she's still pregnant too.... I have a pair of those really huge ear covering headphones..... ha ha I'm sure I will be making Laura sit still while I play our growing baby lullabies from Jewel...
