Well It's been raining here and out on the coast for a few days. When it rains I get down so I watch Lost in Translation. I love this movie. I love how it has an older mentor kind of guy and a young person who is trying to find out who she is? I can very much relate to it. Anyone else like this movie. I think it's brilliant and Bill Murray is at his best.

I like also the movie but I like more virgin suicide 'cause I find the story more interesting (and I love kirsten dunst) . i'm a fan of Sofia coppola movies (it's who like marie antoinette).
I also see that you like bill murray, have you seen broken flowers & the aquatic life?

Chris have you seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind? That movie is a favorite of mine. Or Garden State? Garden state is an awesome movie about finding yourself..

I have yet to see Lost in Translation but I know someone who has it, I will have to borrow it...

Oh that is my second favourite movie of all time. It comes a close second to the Matrix. But I just adore that movie. It is warped yet brilliant.

Haven't seen Lost in Translation yet. I have Sky Movies so I am sure it has been on a few times and will be on again. I'll check it out next time it's in the listings

Has anyone ever seen the movie PUMPKIN w/ Christina Ricci? It's very warped but one of my favorite movies b/c it deals with someone who suddenly sees all the ugly things in the world and finds her own beauty within it.

I highly recommend it, especially if you appreciate different styles of cinema..

I have seen eternal and yeah I like it too. Garden State was pretty good too. Don't stay in the house all day. The carbon monoxide detectors were going off so I had to take the batteries out. hehe

I have to admit the last time I watched eternal I got bored and shut it off. I dunno I'm just not into movies that much lately. Like I used to watch movies over and over now I just can't I get too bored. It must be the power of netflix. Lost in Translation though I could watch over and over again. I especially like watching it on rainy days.

Garden State is pretty decent because of Zach Braff and Nat Portman but I have to say there is some things in it that i dont like. Like the friend and that porno scene thing.

I NEED to see lost in trans. & Eternal Sunshine...I cant find them anywhere!!! Gary- my walmart needs to start selling these movies! lol
