Finally.... yesterday i bought my cd.... after months of wait!!! and of course... no promotion of any kind... i just heard again and again.. just... one again actually... in some ac radio here in Santiago, Chile. Anyway.. i think is Jewel´s best work!!! i love stephenville, tx!!! and drive to you.. yeah that one who keep out of 0304!!
Anyway.. a lot of friends... who loved "Foolish Games" - the only hit of Jewel in this lands- said there gonna buy the record

OH, I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you, dear SitDogBoy!! I think ST is one of the BEST songs on it!! :p We may have to agree to disagree.....But I also like country music, so that makes sense. I also love the 'stream of conscious'-ness about it. In some of the phrases of that I song I wonder, when the heck does she breathe???:D

As for Stephenville, TX - have to agree with Christie. I think it's one of the best Jewel songs let alone one of the best on the album.

I like the song. That and 0304 are 2 albums I can just play without skiping any of the songs. But one of the best song?

Yes!!! I agree with Kiera. I think ST is one of Jewel's very best, as well as her most autobiographical!! I wonder why she didn't record this earlier??? Hasn't she been performing it for some time now??

.......actually I'm not a big fan of Long Slow Slide. I mean I don't dislike it, but it doesn't really stand out to me. I do like the message, at least what I think her message is: comparing the "circus" to fame. (Am I off base here??) The more I hear it though, I like it a bit more each time. Maybe it is growing on me. I tend to skip it sometimes because, well, it's longgggg and slowwwww....
