The Rolling Stones Glasgow Gig

Hi everyone,i have just got back from seeing The Rolling Stones play live at Hampden Park in Glasgow tonight and it was absolutely brilliant !:)
Have any other JKF members seen them on their current UK tour?
It was a very impressive stage set,with spectacular effects,the sound was spot-on,and it was littered with all the expected Stones classic songs.
My god,Jagger is still a fit old bugger,he was running around the massive stage like a 21 year old,i was puffed out watching him!:cool:
I look forward to hearing from any other Stones fans who have seen this current tour,and getting any opinions they might have.
I still dream of finally seeing Jewel live at some point,that would be awesome,so please come to the UK Jewel,or at least some part of Europe,please please !!!

I'd say they are brilliant live. I've always liked them but never loved them enough to want to see them live. I think I enjoy them enough listening to my 40 licks album.

Hiya,i know what you mean,there are lots of singers/bands thet i like but i would not go out of my way to see them live.
The Stones just always deliver a stunning performance,they have around 43 years of making music,and although the current stuff is not as good as it could be,it's really the classic stuff that goes down the best at the gigs.
My brother and i had seen them 3 times already,and due to the tickets starting at £90 -£150 each for this tour,we agreed to give it a miss this time.Then my brother got word on Tuesday from American Express the sponsers to say that he had won 2 tickets from a competition he had entered in our Glasgow newspaper,(jammy buggers),so we were on cloud 9.:D
We had amazing seats,Billy Connolly and his wife Pamela were just a few rows behind us,and we talked to Arthur Numan,a dutch ex-Rangers player who was in front of us,it was fantastic!:)
I doubt that we will see them live again though,so last night was a great memory for us both.
Jewel is my main goal to see live,so i'm keeping everything crossed for a Eurpean tour,as are all of us i expect eh?
Who else do you like apart from the beloved Jewel?

I adore Billy to bits I really do. Did you hear him say anything? I would love to have a conversation with him. He's number 2 on my list of famous people I'd love to meet. Jewel is number 1
