I must admit, their earlier work was a little too 'new wave' for my taste. But when 'Sports" came out in 83, I think they really camein to their own, commerically and artistically. The whole albums "Sports" has a new sudden sheen of consummate professionalism, that really gives the songs a BIG BOOST.

SHEER POETRY. Anyone recognize this? Brett Easton Ellis "American Psycho". Great book. Read it on an airplane, anyway that passage took me into another dimension of listeningto Huey lewis and The News.
