View Full Version : I like your forums.
I just wanted to take the time to thank you for setting these forums up. I like the forumat, and capability of the bbs software you chose. I feel handicaped when I can't post smilies. Many of my posts are serious sillyness and cannot be appreciated without smileys.
Thanks again!

Hey everyone,
This is a great forum and looks like it is going to do very well. l like all the smilies and other stuff. I hope we can get a lot of people who posted on the old jeweljk forum to join this one. I miss everyone. :( I signed up for unedited mainly for the media and tickets and it is such a bummer about having to pay for a forum. Once we get some polls going, rumors started, and silly conversations between members, this place will feel just like the old forum.

comment on guestbook on my site......
hey MR.CC......michaelsjewel - i'm already registered silly....and no this is not micheal (the dutch jewel fan) - this is michael (the american running michaelsjewel.com fansite ) by the way, did we all think micheal from the dutch jewel fan site disappeared????no, he's working under jewelgaller.nu now - consider this my update to help fellow webmasters.
also, american jewel fan, i hope i can help out some. i've already made the forum link on my site that used to be linked to the official site - now it's linked to this forum. when i get the time to do heavy promotion of the new michaelsjewel -(yaw - i'm changing my site as well) - i'll have to do some heavy promotion even more on jewel promotion michaelsjewel.com style. i haven't any clue what to do, so far i've done rating links based on updates, content, etc. and this should hopefully get more webmasters to update their sites. i'm also thinking about creating some new content as to buddy icons, or little images designed specifically for forums, and/or messengers. we'll see what's to come from jewel in 2005 - and no i'm not advertising my site - i consider this a sense of reflection - all jewel sites promote jewel one way or another, i just do it this way - even this forum. i would also like to say congrats to the people spreading the word of this forum - agree that i shouldn't have to pay for a forum - thats why i'm still not an unedited member. i also think it's bull that you have to be on unedited to hear audio snippets, and video clips of jewel's work that has been released! one thing i just recalled, we can't even get lyrics on jeweljk.com anymore without being on unedited......what's next, they not even going to give us jewel news without signing up? but then again, what jewel news have the given so far? enough about this - i've got college work to do. :mooner: < this smiley is hilarious! -michael (not to be confused with the micheal from the dutch fansite aka jewel gallery.nu - this is michael from michaelsjewel.com - this reminds me of what justin did on ASPCJ lol)

:muhaha: I can't believe people think that you're Michiel (his name has 2 I's, by the way ;)). When the Prez posted that thread on the jeweljk forum, I was highly confused and thought I was out of the loop somewhere, but nope, he just got the 2 of you mixed up
Speaking of your site, I think it'd be cool if you did make icons and such. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would use them for message boards, messengers and online journals (LiveJournal (http://www.livejournal.com) (the site that started all these blogs), DeadJournal (http://www.deadjournal.com), GreatestJournal (http://www.greatestjournal.com), Blurty (http://www.blurty.com), Xanga (http://www.xanga.com)...), I know I would :) It seems almost impossible to find any that are really good. Keep in mind that the size limit for icons on most journals is 100x100, so anything over that won't fit.
Anyway...

They may put some on jeweljk later, you never know what they plan to do yet. Looking at the questionaire, though, I think they will eventually put some up.

We can't on Unedited either. But, did they have lyrics on the old site when 0304 was released (before FansRule)? I honestly don't remember, so that's why I asked.

what's next, they not even going to give us jewel news without signing up?[/quote]
I highly HIGHLY doubt that will happen. If you look at the official sites for the other artists they do (Dave Matthews Band (http://www.dmband.com), Shania Twain (http://www.shaniatwain.com), Kenny Chesney (http://www.kennychesney.com), Britney Spears (http://www.britneyspears.com) and Usher (http://www.usherworld.com/)), you'll see that they all have news and other content. I know it's a pain, but you Just have to give it some time.

Michael:
Oops. :o I did have you confused with that other Michael who spells his name different. God bless America dude. My real name is Michael too, and I know how to spell Michael. Everybody always has to ask me is it "ae" or "ea"? I like your site. Michael! I especially like that you take space to post links and promote other Jewel Fan sites. I've always been a big fan of fans's sharing fan sites with other fans. :P
Is that photo site the Dutch Michiel or another Dutch fan? Just curious. In either case they have the largest online Jewel photo collection I've ever found. Quite impressive and nicely organized.
Angel Eyes, I agree with you too. they should have content on www.jeweljk.com. It's called promotion. Even if it's just up to date photos it promotes the artist. Give some sample songs and that's even better. In some articles I read Fansrule was all about creating a new source of money by making the loyal fans pay big bucks for tickets and backstage passes. When they took over that was the point the prices went up and the content went down. The founder and president of Fansrule is a music producer and venture capitalist who still owns many businesses. One of the businesses he owns is called "In The Pocket Productions" - as in that's where the money went. He leveraged Fansrule and ended up driving it bankrupt, but he's still a very rich man. Many Christina fans spent hundreds on tickets and will likely have to wait two or three years for the bankruptcy courts to tell them they get no refund. Anyway, that's all old news. Some are tired of hearing about it, but I find it interesting.
Anyway, things are looking up. The glass is half full after all.

well...thanks american girl fan - glad to see i've helped at least one person... and mr cc...it's ok - i just thought it was hilarious. yah....what is with people that spell it the micheal way? u know, michael's a very popular name and people always got confused even where i live on how it should be spelled....i'm like - just remember michael jordan.... or michael jackson(though right now michael jackson isn't really a good name to choose) lol  ttyl
i almost forgot to mention..... michiiel or however it's spelled (the dutch jewel fan) is now working with jewelgallern.nu....... jewelgallery.nu isn't his creation, rather they finally merged - that's where all of the new content of stuff is coming from in their new design. it was sad, during the past few months before the big update, all the photos were the same image and i thought jewelgallery was going down, i was like ....NOOOOOO - thank goodness it's here to stay :)
Yea, Michael Jackson. What I want to know without hijacking the thread is what kind of a parent sends their sons over to Michael Jackson's house after all the publicity he's gotten? And who are these "fans" that flock to the courthouse to see Michael Jackson? I mean even if you think he is innocent, wouldn't it be wise to wait until the trial is over to cheer and make all that noise?
I heard one of his attorneys on TV arguing that it was OK to have porn all over his housewhere kids can see it, becasue it could be legally purchased.
I hope they lock him up for years.

Hey, how about making a thread sharing graphics and such? It'd be cool to see what everyone can do, if you guys are good at the sort of stuff. Just a thought :)
As for the whole "Michael" thing... my older brother is named Michael also. The thing is though, my mom didn't know how to spell it at the time so she wrote "Micheal" on his birth certificate  We all spell it the right way now, regardless of the misspelling. I'm sure none of you care :P

i do have plans to create more actually, though right now it's hard since college and all, so it may be a few weeks before i actually get around to creating something major for the michaelsjewel.com site, as for a new wallpaper, i have one in the works besides the 2 i just updated on the site a couple of days ago, though i'm not sure if i like it too well, it has a lot of look of that of the , display buddy icon for my name - that jewel image with the same blue green sheen :)

I live in the old west. Hang 'em and then convict 'em, Sherrif. ;)
Many have the perception that he got away with this before and paid off his accusor. They were ready to go to trial, but had to drop the case because the accusor had signed a secret out of court settlement. I also think there is a perception that we've seen too many extremely rich people get off becasue they can afford to hire a team of 20 high priced lawyers.
Anyway, I guess I agree with you that we should wait and see what a jury decides. :o If he keeps inviting kids to sleepovers during the trial, I'm going to think he should pleed insanity.

Yeah... let's wait and see what a jury decides. I don't pretend to know
the truth about any of this... but I won't accuse a man of the disgusting
act of pedephilia on the strength of cheap gossip mags... or sensational,
headline-grabbing news reports.
Twice you used the word perception...
It is because of people (like yourself) who persist
with perpetuating these "perceptions" that...
mud will stick if enough is thrown.
Didn't God say He would judge us with the same measure
by which we judge others ???
I hope He doesn't judge you on other peoples perseptions.

well, just because a jury makes a decision doesn't mean it's the truth...... i mean, look @ the OJ simspon case where he murdered his wife. he got away with it, and we all know damn well he did it - it's amazing how our system sometimes works - some go free while sometimes others that didn't commit the crime are sentenced forever. *shakes head
as for if michael jackson is guilty or not, how does one get convicted mutltiple times and still be innocent on a crime? i'd like to believe michael, but you know, after watching that abc or whatever 2 night show on his life, i'm not sure if the guy is even sane. i mean, the guy does believe he's peter pan afterall....just look at his new look compared to the old...the new look with the nose looks a lot like the original cartoon of peter pan - scary! i guess we'll never know, unless we too get molested @ never never land ranch, though i guess we are adults - enough said -michael (from michaelsjewel.com, not the michael jackson that might as well consider his career over 10 years ago.)

I backsteped in my last post and try to agree with you, Prez. Sometimes I let my wild opinions get ahead of my reason. I'm sure that's never happened to you. :P
You are 100% correct. A person is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law. I should always say "IF he is guilty" when I profess my wild opinions. As in - If he is guilty then I hope they put him in jail to be punished and to protect others from being harmed by him. If he is not guilty then I hope people can forgive him - myself included. Fame is not a right however. The public can grant it and take it away on a whim. If the public tires of his bad press then he can always buy an island somewhere and retire. I do feel bad for famous people who are hounded by press, but their lives are partly their own making by seeking after fame. When they achieve it they find that they are the target of lawsuits by those who wish to take their money. I guess I am not sure that Michael Jackson is guilty under the law. A person can be found guilty under the law and be innocent and a person can be guilty and be found not guilty under the law. Earthly justice will never be perfect primarily becasue guilty people are too good at hiding the evidence.
While I do not know if he is guilty or not in the eyes of the law. God's law is a separate issue. God will judge us using a much more just system than the laws man has created. He will also forgive us for things that fellow men/women can never forgive us for. Can a child who has been molested ever fully forgive the person who molested them? Some can, but others may never while on this this earth. I beleive that after this life the truth will be known and the all the injustices that we have done including any done to Michael Jackson will be made right.
Perhaps Michael Jackson is nothing more than a misunderstood man with emotional issues. If so many of us will owe him an apology. Even if that is the case we're all still entitled to have opinion. Mine is that at the very least he has an odd personality, but then again don't we all. ;)
Did anyone ever convict Jewel for producing 0304? :D

Your last post make sense... that pretty much says it all.
Sure... Jackson is an oddball... he goes out of his way to be.
But no matter how WACKO you are, it doesn't make you a child molester.
And sure... things don't look real good for Jacko right now... but he
simply MUST be given the benifit of ANY doubt until a jury of
his peers say otherwise.
And...
Did anyone ever convict Jewel for producing 0304? :D
She looks pretty guilty in the pic you included. :D
