I have it on DVD! Won it from Justin. It is a nice performance but she is a bit stiff. I know it was really formal and all but not typical Jewelie

i won it also from justin - and well - the songs she performed were crap - and the rest of the artists on it just were BAD - lol - it's a wonder why these artist never make it to the 24/7 xmas music stations here where i live -
I also have one thanks to Justin. Thank you Justin! I thought Jewel's performance was very good, and the one with Nedra was so funny. Here she is cracking up and laughing during a serious song and all this in front of Vatican insiders.
I consider it to be one of the prizes in my Jewel collection. I wouldn't trade 10,000 signed copies of 0304 for it.

i consider the laughing a terrible thing when it's supposed to be professional - made jewel look like a child compared to the rest of performers - if u call them that - lol

I have this on DVD but the only performance is Hands. Where is the one that she laughs during a song? Is it on the CD or is there another DVD?

The second performance is "What Child is This." Jewel sings it with her mom, Nedra. It's a serious song, but at one point she looks over at her mom and giggles. I thought it was a nice moment. There's all these serious looking men in robes that lok like cardinals or bishops in the audience.

Yea, that's totally uncalled for. Justin had his contest and those people who entered the contest deserved their prizes. It was hard and took work to answer all his questions. He sent me mine shortly before the contest started. The ones for the contest he bought later. In any case here's a guy who buys some rare disks that are not even for sale anywhere else and he buys them WITH HIS OWN MONEY AND SENDS THEM TO JEWEL FANS FOR FREE. He even shipped them over-seas at his own expense. No matter which way you look at it the people who got them should be grateful. Where I come from they teach us how to act when somebody gives you a gift.
Anyway....have a nice day. And thank you again, Justin. I watched my whole DVD again over Christmas weekend. I loved it. Jewel. Nedra. Bryan Adams. Charlotte Church, before she grew up. And all the European singers I was not familiar with. I loved it all. This disk is quite long and worth the watch. As far as sending copies via PM or E-mail goes...not me. The World Jewel Forum does not pirate anything.

The Australian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Jewel website
held 2 competitions for the DVD...
the first was for New Jewel Forum members only.
Here's the review of the DVD:

We had three DVDs...
Mike got the first... as a gift...
Michael won the second... with his entree...
Kiera the third... for her entree.
We'd already got hold of around 15 more DVDs...
then we ran the comp (with new questions) open to everyone/anyone
who visited the ASPCJ website.
(and the comp was again promoted it in the NJF as well as other music forums)
The second comp:

This comp was stacked to ensure Craig (a cyber-friend), Tracy (Angel Eyes)
and a Kilcherian friend of my sister each won one.

(and my sister gave her friend the answers instead of extra clues)
We originally planned to give away 10 'Jewel at the Vatican' DVDs to the general public...
we ended up giving away 12 to the general public.
So... in fact, we gave away 2 extra DVD's (than originally planned) to the general public...
so the general public were not cheated.
(One entree was from a little girl in Japan, who sadly, only got a handful of questions correct...
but we sent her a prize anyway coz she told us how excited she was when her mum
took her to see Jewel live)
So, in effect... one extra DVD was given to fair and winning entrees.
