jEWEL said on an interview that her album will be a mix of pop, rock, folk, country... and stuff. Espected late in february 06. Also a very good interview by the magazine SI.com. They talked to Jewel and Ty talking about each other!
Plus Punk Rock Angel Girl really looks like coming out in a hurry.
Jewel is taking jessica simpson under her wing...

It's so hard to find the USA Weekend one that I decided to copy and paste it here:

I saw Jewel in an acoustic concert, and I was taken by her beautiful voice and the intimacy of the venue. Will she consider doing another acoustic tour?

"I've been acoustic for the last three years. I'll probably switch it up now," Jewel, 31, tells us. Her sixth LP, begun last summer, is due in early 2006, and she'll tour next fall. Expect folk, rock, pop and country. "I will probably take a band out," she says. Jewel also has signed with Nickelodeon to draw and write a cartoon called "Punk Rock Angel Girl."

Late feb? Someone on the EDA list said a reliable source told them april 4th. So who knows?

I'm taking a "I'll believe it when I see it" view on the release date. There's only been, what, 30 of them? I'll just look at her spot at Sam Goody every few weeks or so.
