Fiona Apple ... Unreleased Tracks!

OK, less than half of you probably have a vague idea of what I'm talking about...I'm talking about FIONA APPLE!! You saw my "The Other Artists" thread...her third album, Extraordinary Machine has been shelved by Sony/Epic...but a radio host in Seattle (http://www.1077theend.com/) managed to get hold of a copy of the CD and played three new leaked tracks (there were already two other leaked tracks). The new songs ROCK! So do the other two!!

Excuse my exclamation marks, but I'm so happy I finally got to hear more songs from this album! Who cares if it doesn't have single material?!! It's friggin' amazing and original!

ok...so i can hear the 3 newest leaked tracks i guess...just not the first two... um... i can see why they are not releasing it... worst music i've ever heard from fiona apple i love her past 2 albums. but these songs are not catchy nor are they any good that i'd want to hear them again... i'd have to hear the first 2 songs that bandwidth usage won't allow me to listen to, but i guess 3 out of 5 is enough to determine my overall outlook!

i only like a couple of sean paul's songs.... for fiona apple... i guess GET HIM BACK is ok... the 2nd to last one was terrible...i don't know why...
yah, that's why i thought the album cover was freaky in that it wasn't good quality....and the proportion was scary in itself...lol

Those songs are actually better than what I thought they'd be. A couple of them are a little odd, but overall, I think they're pretty good. I'll have to listen to them a couple more times to really get a good idea of them, but so far I don't see how they're that different from how her style is. But then, record labels can be fickle at times. Who knows what they're thinking *shrugs*

well...if they don't think well at all...let's definitely say that atlantic don't think well enough for promotion wise...i mean...it takes more than a first good single on an album to promote it.....when will they ever learn?

finally i can listen to the first two songs.... - so far, extraordinary machine is the best so far - better version of me has a better sound ...in fact, i actually like this one .... we definitely need to hear more - and as it normally is for me - songs have to grow on me

Oh yeah, that. Then again, it's her last record in her contract with Atlantic and for all we know, they don't care or don't think it'll sell...well, Jewel can always go to Sony/Epic. :wacko: *shudders*

I actually think that is a real shame for Fiona. She works hard on an album with the hope of fan anticipation to boost people into buying it but this leak has ruined that for her. Poor thing.

Um, Kiera, haven't you heard? Her record label Sony/Epic won't release the album.

And there are still dedicated fans who would buy the album even if they have listened to the whole thing beforehand.

weird how they all leaked pretty much @ the same time....i wonder if that'll force them to release it soon?

and what i mean by catchy...i meant actually liking it...they had nothing that caught me to like them is what i meant - though some songs just have to grow on you :sleep:
