Winter Wonderland

Well I just wanted to pass along that Winter Wonderland seems to be getting alot of airplay at wal*mart . I have been shoppping at various times in the day there and I hear Jewel's version alot. I heard it thismorning when i was working and I was shocked I was like this sounds alot like Jewel.. It didn't hit me right away that it was because that song is so widley sung by everyone and indeeed my instincts were right it was Jewel.

So it is nice to see that Jewel is still getting airplay pretty much everywhere.

I love the little yodeeling bit she does in that song doesn't it just make ur feathers grow

well - our walmart hasn't played xmas music yet - if it has it was 2 songs - and i work there - unless i just don't hear it b/c we're just so damn busy - seriously - we're the busiest walmart lol

JOY is nice - but i'm not fond of HANDS xmas version - neither do i like THAT MEDLEY

i usually skip over those - lol

I dunno.. christmas music always makes me wretch. The only christmas song I can listen to by Jewel is 'Blue Christmas.'

I never liked anyone singing blue christmas it was an annoying song.
Yes that is my boyfriend in that picture aren't I quite the lucky one. He called me like 3 times this morning but i was sleeping third shift tends to do that to u. Yeah Jewel has ussualy been on the Walmart overnight show I don't know how far out that broadcasts if it just like a us thing or not to sure. She is ussualy on around 11pm.

I can actually give u many reasons walmart suvks but I dont have that kinda time i have to be there in a few hours, but back to Jewel I love the chrsitmas cd she is just so great and has such a wide range of vocal ability and this cd u can cleary see that.

Yeah... it was on the Best Buy Cd called "Sweet Tracks"

I don't think it's annoying when Jewel sings it... it's refreshingly beautiful... I absolutely hate the Elvis version, now THAT'S annoying.

Welll Walmart played O Holy Night the other night.
They got offf the christmas ac and once again played Standing Still
So it is good to be hearing Jewel.

i totally caught me off guard because I copied the whole Joy cd onto my computer so I could listen to it while i'm home, and then I turned it off and it came on right away. I didn't even realize it was the TV at first.

ya, i really like that show and House, and of course it is on the one channel that comes in like junk at night, yet i keep adjusting that antenna until it comes in only slightly fuzzy! :rolleyes: one day we will get cable i suppose...

but ya, it was pretty cool hearing all the Jewel songs, i really like her christmas stuff

it is a really cool, super awesome show on Fox tuesday nights at 8pm, it delas with forensic type crime solving stuff, but it is more interesting than I make it sound

it also happened to have a bunch of Jewel christmas songs on it, just to avoid going :offtopic:
