Does anybody have any info on this new cd that is being sold at the online jewel store.
http://stores.musictoday.com/store/dept.as..._id=1331&sfid=2 (http://stores.musictoday.com/store/dept.asp?band_id=488&dept_id=1331&sfid=2)

I found out about this cd from a post at the world jewel forum and am surprised that it's not being advertised on the main page of Jewel's official site or on the Jewelunedited site. It doesn't have the track list so I'm wondering if it's just a couple of songs off of the Joy cd. Or if it's a bunch of new holiday songs.

Haven't heard anything about it except that it exists.
Not really sure why they haven't advertised it but I am thinking it is just a few tracks from Joy. OR it's just Joy renamed.

Can't imagine her doing another Christmas album as she kinda covered the usual ones on Joy

Well I just bought it. I never bought Joy so the way I see it, if it is Joy, then I have it, if it isn't, then I know I can just go out and buy Joy. I still think it is just a repackaged Joy.

When it arrives, I'll let you know

it has 3 songs - 2 from JOY - and the other 1 is just a season's greetings message - full information is on the World Jewel forum

FOR FIFTEEN BUCKS! so, basically, your paying 5 bucks a song. 2 are songs that most of us already have.

I found a website. Link was 'smoe.com...' something (sorry can't find it now) and it says that it was a cd Jewel and her Mother sent out as Christmas cards. I'll have a quick scout around to see if I can find more info.

But it looks like I have been slightly ripped off. Ah well, better to have it then not I suppose.

Ok, seems it is called Jeweltide. I put that into a search engine.

Here's more info (http://members.fortunecity.com/rvh102/items.html) from the Angel Needs a Ride site. You'll need to scroll down a bit

I saw that on the JewelJK website and I didn't really think much of it. I was going through all of my jewel stuff and I found a VHS tape with a bunch of recorded shows on it It's all Jewel i do not remember half of the stuff that's on there but the very first thing is Jewel on the Today Show singing some of the christmas songs. Joy to the World and Ave Maria are the only ones I can remember off hand. I was soo happy I found it because I think I have the Rosie O'donnel thing on there somewhere too.

I'm pretty sure that is the 2000 Season's Greetings christmas card that she and lenedra put out. I have it and it's older.

Actually I got mine on Friday. I was disappointed. The one I have doesn't even have 3 songs. Just 2 and a bit of Jewel and her Mom messing with funny voices at the end and them saying 'Seasons Greetings'.

I thought the 3rd track was a song but sadly no.
