I'm currently working on collecting all of Tori's stuff. I didn't really care for her at first, but she grew on me big time. I can't wait to hear the new album.

I also loved Scarlet's Walk (great concept album) and I hope to buy The Beekeeper soon. I've already heard the album's first single "Sleeps With Butterflies", and really like it.

I've also heard "Sweet The Sting". That along with "Sleeps With Butterflies" are the only two songs I've heard from her new album. And they are good, but compared to the rest of the album, I don't know how good.

hmmmm.... i'm not sure of it either - i mean there's some good - and some really boring - but i guess i liked scarlet's walk better i would have to say - though it takes awhile to grow on me.....i mean...when i first put in 0304...i didn't know what to expect or even how to comment...i actually skipped around the songs to test them out...but they grew on me and became my favorite overall... so i guess you'll just have to buy the album to know for sure :)

I got the album two days ago, and I really like it. Yeah, there are some boring tracks, but also some very good ones. Tori makes amazing concept albums. And, like Scarlet's Walk, she gave us a long album, with mostly enjoyable and catchy songs. It's quite an original album; a lot of it sounds like garden or beach music.

My favorites include:
"Parasol"
"Jamaica Inn"
"Ribbons Undone"
"Cars And Guitars"
"Witness"
"Martha's Foolish Ginger"

So...which is your favorite garden?

My all time favorite Tori song is definitely "Crucify." It's a classic. :)

I learned of Tori Amos' music through other musicians.

I found her lyrics and vocal style took some getting used to, but her skill and her mastery of the piano just takes my breath away!

My respect for her ability only increased when I read her bio.

I have only 3 of her CDs.

Little Earthquakes
Tales of a librarian
Under the pink

Little Earthquakes is stll my favourite of those three.

I'd be tempted if I had any money and if I recognized the songs. ;)

It's not a bad CD if you like 80s music. :D
