Alright people:

~~What is the scariest and or dumbest thing(s) that have happened to you?
the first scary and dumb thing that happened to me was, falling in my parents well when i was in 4th grade...
for some reason i thought it would be fun to see how many times i could run across the board covering it, and then one time, ooops, there i went down the well!

^^^lol...thats funny :P
...anyway, the scariest thing thats ever happened to me, was when i went on a holiday to Egypt, and with the ongoing terrorist situation they have over there also, tourists have to travel in coach convoys....anyway, 5 years back now i was there and we were on a coach on our way to visit the Pyramids, and the bus pulls over on the side of the road in the middle of the desert!!!, the driver gets out, walks off into the horizon (till he vanishes)and returns with 4 men armed with AK-47 machine guns :ph43r: ...my parents, myself and other people on board were starting to panic, and some even cry!!! by not knowing what was going on...as most would! did'nt speak any bloody english did they lol. Then about 10-15 min later some jeeps with mounted machine guns turn up along side the coach...then that heven coach driver speakes in english saying this is our armed escort in case terrorists attack (which they have been known too)...he then drives about 5 min down the road until we see 3 other coaches together, and we move off together onwards to the pyramids :clapjoy: despite that nightmare...the day was rather eerrrm nice

Well the scariest thing for me was when I was mugged coming home from school. I was in my uniform and had my schoolbag but this idiot thought I looked like the type of person to rob  Anyway, I had about ?5 (irish pounds at the time) and my mobile phone (yeah I know...odd for a schoolgirl way back then). He came up from behind, stuck something against my back and said it was a knife, to cooperate or he'd stab me. Then to give him all my money and he wanted my schoolbag. I left both on the ground before he made off with them. I found my bag down the road a couple of hours later with everything in it.

It was bright at the time on a main road at 6pm in the evening but typically, no-one around. I was terrified at the time and will never forget it. I had my mobile phone in my jacket pocket (that he never checked) and just rang my friend straight away. I only told my mum about it a few months ago. She would have never let me out if I had told her back then.

well that was the scariest and hope i never have to be that terrified again.

:o wow, thinking you are being attacked by terrorists, walking in on your parents procreating and being mugged...

and here i thought falling down a well was freaky!

i think one of the dumbest things that happened to me involving horses was this:
joe and i used to ride out at the base stables near where we lived, we would go out alot so we had a pass to go out by ourselves, this one time i picked this horse Hannah, who unbeknownst to me had a habit of puffing up her belly when you tighten the girth, so we got out on the trail and my saddle started tipping
well, i was like-what the heck!- and was too dumbfounded to react in time, and ended up slowly tilting off her back and landing in the dirt at her feet.

yep, i felt pretty dumb!

Well in my case...thankfully no! It really was a long time ago. My parents split up 15 years ago. So obviously it would have been some time before the split so I am guessing I was about 7 or 8. I can't really remember the exact age but that one main image is still as fresh as the day I saw it. Oh I think I am going to be sick....Uughhhh.

It really is a site a child should never see!

Actually it does.... especially since I told my ex-girlfriend about what happened she just happened to say something she thought was funny.... "is this what you're parents were doing?!"

umm.... well getiing back on topic. I just read thru this whole thread, and am surprised to say that me and Kiera girl have something in common. My story is a little diff. tho.

THE SCARIEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME:

This was about 2 years ago when I was in the 7th grade. I was really starting to enjoy middle school, although I was relatively naive, and was going to get a wakeup call in 8th grade. So, anyhoe, I got out of my last class and had to pee REALLY badly, I had had to pee since 2 classes ago (each class is 45 minutes long) and i lost my 'bathroom priveliges' in both classes , so i was out of luck. so i ran to the bathroom, and after i was done, I was about to wash my hands when these two 9th graders that were smoking weed a couple stalls over heard me flush the toilet and came out of the stalls. i knew they were smoking, but i just thought cigarettes, because i didnt think that anyone would ACTUALLY smoke pot (naive, remember?) so my mouth kinda dropped when i saw them and they were all like "what are you staring at" so i turned around to continue washing my hands because my legs were too scared to run away. so anyway all of a sudden someone pushes me from the side and i land on the bathroom floor (ewwww, i know) and then one of the guys kicks me and says you better not tell anyone we're in here. and im like "i wont" and hes like trying to act all tough and everything so he kicks me again. and then the other guy drags me across the floor and im like screaming and the guy that originally kicked me was like 'shut the F up' and pulls a knife out and good thing i had just peed, cause if not i would have peed in my pants, so im just laying there and one guy kicks me again, and then he grabs my backpack and takes my money (my allowance of 20 dollars which i had just gotten the day before) and he takes my cell phone and chucks it in the toilet, and they leave. I just layed theyre for like 15 minutes until the janitor came in and took me to the office so i could call my parents. so i guess i got jacked (american word for "mugged") just thought i might share

:o well, i have led a very tame life in comparison, and i must say i am glad of it! so far i have never been robbed, beaten up, or walked in on my parents! all i can think of are dumb things that happened to me!
oh wait, well, back in high school my best friend and i used to umm, shoplift
(i have not done this in over 10 years btw) and one of our places to do that was Wal-Mart, and this one time, the last time we did it, we thought for sure that we had been caught on one of the cameras because the intercom was talking about a code 6 in such and such an area which was where we were
so needless to say we shoved everything on a shelf and got out as fast as possible! after that we were scared enough to not do it again!

i dont recommend shoplifting :( we were very lucky to have not gotten caught!!!

i work @ walmart - and i've never heard of a code 6 - lol - must be something only "LOSS PREVENTION" and management need to know - i'm a cashier - so basically i get to watch whatever goes through my area and if someone is caught um - well stealing like say...THROUGH THE SELF CHEckOUTS b/c they think we're not watching - but when i'm there = i watch u like a hawk!!!! - lol - just this last week i caught a guy who had a full kart of booze and a cooler that had way more in it than i even was thinking - but i was watching my big screen that shows what's being scanned before they left and motioned the door greeter to stop him b/c he didn't scan any of that - i guess the guy ran off - lol - so i guess i did a good deed - though i'm still curious how much money that was worth - had to be at least 500 dollars or more!

well, i am guessing 10 years ago the security wasnt as umm, high tech? strict? as it probably is now, i am not bragging but it wasnt usuaual for us to get out of there with a couple hundred dol. worth of stuff
wow, i cant believe i used to do that! i guess some kids drink and party and its the really quiet ones you need to look out for, they might take your shoes right off your feet  :dunno:

so anywhoooo
lets move on away from my sordid past life of crime

ha! tattle tale!! you know, i am always getting on Corinne for tattling on Anja!
lol, that makes me think of this girl Caitlin i used to work with, she was from some suburb of Boston and was generally not one you wanted to get ticked off at ya! anyhow there was this girl Laura who was dumb enough to get on her bad side by threatening to rat on her, and Caitlin's response was:
"Where I come from we have a saying; Snitches get stitches and wind up in ditches..."
lol, not that i am threatening you, it just made me think of her
