I went to the Waukegan, 7/23 show with my Mother. On the way home we stopped to eat in Merrillville, having been made familiar with the city last year when we went to see Jewel. Big mistake...I couldn't leave the town knowing I was already there and there were tickets still available. So I didn't leave without seeing the show. We actually got pretty impressive tickets for ordering them the day of the show - row E didn't turn out to be too bad.

We got to see Joe's show and he admitted that he was hung over (as if nobody could tell the night before) :givbeer:

Jewel came out wearing the same denim capris as the night before with her hair down and a loose, flowing creme colored top. Truth be known I was actually wearing the same pants also.

She seemed a little more at ease and into the show than the night before. I actually wrote down the setlist and in order this time.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Near you Always
Down So Long (woo-hoo...she really got into this one and I love it when she does)
Life Uncommon
Carnivore
Alice in Wonderland - due to my request - however, I was ready to plead the 5th when she asked how I had heard it but thankfully a person up front said Unedited, to which she replied, "Unedited, what's that?"
Stand
Hands
Foolish Games
Break Me
Morning Song
The Other Woman
Standing Still
Relatively new story about LA & botox that makes everyone talk with an Asian accent - also included characters such as Stinky - the guy who moved to Homer because he was paranoid, especially about bombs being dropped & Nina - a belly dancer in Alaska who had a full beard
Intuition
YWMFM Drug Bust Story - actually promoted Steve's website if we wanted to see the pictures
YWMFM
WWSYS

Encore: Everything Reminds me of You with Joe and Chime Bells.

I'll be back on the road next weekend for the Cleveland show and will be sure to update then...until then I will try to :getalife:

Excellent set of songs there. Glad she is mixing them up well. There's a couple there I don't know (and I hate not knowing her songs) so I look forward to getting to know them given the chance.
