So I've been wondering for the longest time, and have searched a few bootlegs and browsed the net...

Does anyone know the background story for Rosey and Mick? Obviously it's about an abusive relationship... But does anyone know like, what motivated/inspired her to write it?

I don't actually know. I haven't got the best memory as it is and it's even worse these days but if she did ever say what the story was behind it, I don't remember sadly.

I suppose back then, she could have easily been inspired by the news and maybe just hearing about people she knew or her family knew that may have been through this.

Though if anyone knows, I'm always keen to hear where she gets her inspiration from.

Yeah thats kind of what I assumed, Little Bird.
Especially cause from the shows I heard with it in it all the way back to like, 2001... Never seemed to have given a back story.

Maybe she just wrote it off the top of her head. I write alot and most of it is just randomness.
