Lemon Drops and Clovers was recorded at Jazzy Jeff’s A Touch of Jazz studio circa 2003. It was previously featured on The Kev Brown Discography Mixtape (which, come to think about it, I’ll get to you soon), but cuts off after a minute. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the never before released full length version. (*Cue the bomb explosions!!!)

Killer bassline, snapping hand claps and a transcendent vocal performance make this a spring time classic…

Once again - I come online just to share this very information and you've beaten me to it Robby!

I agree. I've subscribed to the 'Pieces of You' Twitter account and it's been invaluable with updates lately and so I follow Robby with my high recommendation to get on and subscribe to his blog. It's great.

Not loving that version of Lemondrops and Clover though. Reading it before listeing to it, I didn't know how that song would work and I don't think it does. It's not often I come across experimental work of Jewel's that I don't like but that is definitely one of them.

Loving the background jazzy tune but I don't think that and the song go.
