So, I went to the accoustic show in Canada on the 23rd. I was staying at Casino Windsor hotel and decided to go check out the pool and workout area. I put on my workout clothes and headed down. After about 45 min of working out, I was ready to go. As I got up from my last set of sit-ups I noticed two pretty girls on the treadmills right next to me. So I casually shot a glance over and .... yep, it was Jewel and her girlfriend! I about had a heart attack. Mind you, I had been working out so I was sweaty and my hair was a discheveled mess. But, this was Her, standing right next to me. I had to figure out what to say but my head was spinning, I couldn't believe my luck. After about 5 min I finally went up to her. I told her how I was a fan and that I would love to hear " Carnivore " live. Anyhow I left her alone and went for a shower. Later that night at the concert, around the third song, she told the story of running into a fan at the gym and how it was akward because I cracked a joke about her standing on the thing and not running. I guess it was broke or something cuz she couldn't get it to turn on. Anyways, she played the song for me and it was the best day of my life. I just wanted to share with all of you how sweet and kind Jewel is for doing that for me. It really made my day, and pretty much changed my life. I now believe in fate and that great things are awaiting us all at any time. Now if only I could get a copy of that concert to prove to my friends that it actually happened...:thanx:
