Lucky you...they sound like great seats!

Congrats on the virgin post by the way. We have a lot of member who do the same thing. Nothing wrong with that but I'm delighted you decided to post even after all this time.

Enjoy the show. Wish I could be there

Take care
Kiera

Back from the show...

Absolutely brilliant, I have to say. I haven't been able to see her live since 1999--I have been missing so much! I had 5th row seats, so I'm quite pleased with the night. Beautiful venue, and the opener, Jud Hughes was great too.

She did mention that she will try to have the lullaby album out by May...but we all know how it goes with initial album release dates.

My highlights of the evening:

In the photo shoots monologue she started striking poses and saying "Can you handle that?" and then "Can you handle the tooth?!" Haha

In the hitchhiking to Mexico monologue, which kind of went off into tangents, she told about how her Dad showed up at the opening for the Wizard of Oz and when someone said something about how proud he must be of her, he told them, at that moment when everyone gets quiet, "Yeah, I put my best sperm into that one"

CARNIVORE.
MORNING SONG.

She threatened a muzzle from her merch for a lady who constantly kept requesting her to yodel.

Any who, the set list:

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Near You Always
Monologue: Biker Bars
Last Dance Rodeo
Carnivore
Monologue: Photo shoots
Stephenville
Rosey & Mick
Perfectly Clear
Stronger Woman
Little Sister
Monologue: Shoplifting Carrots--the Gateway Vegetable
Hands
Down So Long
Life Uncommon
Break Me
Enter From the East
Morning Song
Cold Song
Monologue: Dentist's Chair
Intuition
A Hole in My Heart
Standing Still
Foolish Games
You Were Meant for Me
Monologue: Hitchhiking to Mexico/Dad at Graduation
Who Will Save Your Soul

Chime Bells

Got a video of Shape of You and photos, so I'll be posting again shortly.

And here's the 7 foot tall runway model with her eye lashes straight from the amazon:

Wow - thanks so much for that brilliant account and the fantastic pictures. Not sure what she's doing in the last photo though. Very odd. :)

It was really great of you to share those with us. I am always appreciative of this kind of generousity as European fans like me don't get the opportunity to go to the concerts!

Take care
Kiera

Not sure what she's doing in the last photo though. Very odd. :)

She was talking about how at one of her first photo shoots she was intimidated by this really tall model that looked like she came straight from the amazon. In the photo, she's imitating the model's really long, animated eyelashes.

***I forgot that she played Last Dance Rodeo after the Biker Bar monologue (edited above).

Though someone just recently put up a better quality video from another concert; it should come up in the related videos.

Thanks for that. I embeded the video into your post. Hope you don't mind. Just makes it easier to see the video within this thread than to go to YouTube separately.
