Previously on Survivor:

Disgracefully placed "On Report" the Prez was offered a chance of redemption:

"You do, however, have the opportunity to redeem your zero warning level and
have full member activity by posting a genuine public apology in 'The Abyss'
for your behavior."

So... taking full advantage of this overwhelmingly generous 'opportunity':

Standing in deep water... unable to bail himself out with a straw,
the Prez had to humbly concede the error of his unIntrepid ways.

Determined to lead a life uncommon, he had to first stand before the
'Kilcherian Inquisition' and throw himself at the mercy of:
'The Pure and Righteous Moderators... the Holy Dispensers of Kilcherian Justice'.

The Prez fell to his knees, barely able to speak as tears of blood streamed
down his distraught face. Clutching his Spirit album close to his aching heart,
overwhelmed with remorse, his trembling voice wept forth this humble and
sincere repentance:

"Oh fellow Kilcherians, I kneel before you with heavy heart in this sacred
Kilcherian Abyss beneath the 'Kilcherian Shrine of Repentance'. I hereby
confess the unspeakable acts that I have perpetrated in the Land of Kilcher.
I have dared to attend a Kelly Rowland autograph signing, I have dared to speak
glowingly of Christina's concerts yet failed to attend even one of Jewel's last
three Sydney shows.

"I even dared to post pictures of Shakira's sweet bum but I lecherously
overshot all moral boundaries of common decency when I shamelessly posted the
offensive pictures of Jewel's Blender promo shoot.

"Unrepentant, my sins continued... I harbored no shame, I was bold, brazen and
posted without due consideration to our blessed, Kilcherian Moderators...
who truly are, perfection gloriously personified.

So now, I unreservedly apologize for my, "libelous, defamatory, obscene,
pornographic, threatening, abusive or harassing comments." Yep... that's my
charge, it's true... I kid you not.
(As hard as I searched, I was not accused of doing anything Astonishing Intrepid... ever)

demoralizing manner, will our Holy Spanish Inquisitors... oops, I meant, our
Fair and Balanced Moderators, find within their noble and gracious hearts, the

Next week on Survivor:

Will the "libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, abusive, harassing,
son-of-a-bitch Justin be redeemed... or will he earn his just desserts and be banished
forever to languish in Emilie's 'JewelBox' French Forum ???

Will Veilingmeat be the first to score three victorious 'warnings' thereby denying
the Prez the honour of being the first Kilcherian banished from the Land of Kilcher ???

Currently on a winning streak (after annihilating the ASPCJ), will Lord Ass come up from
behind and steal both their thunder ???

Will Kiera say "pissing" another two times then gloriously ban herself from the forum ???

But is that allowed anyway... or would it be considered as an abuse of her SUPER-POWERS ???

Hey that's the most sincere apology thread I've ever witnessed. Hey Justin how come it's not right for Jewel to sell out and you sell out to try earning back your privledges?

It seems so ironic that 6 months ago when you joined this forum a mere week after it was formed you were only the 17th member of this forum. I remember way back in the days when you and I went merrily around posting links and sending E-mails to Kilcherians around the globe telling them about this new forum. Heck for the first few months it was mostly just Dave, You, Kiera, Myself, and a few others. What could have gone so wrong in the mean time?

All is not well in the land of Kilcheria. Empires have been built and the New Jewel forums are in danger of going to the dark side. I've looked over your posts and I must say I cannot see anything that is different from what you posted in other Jewel forums. I must consult with Yoda to ponder who is the Sith Lord. Who leads the dark side. Are you the dark master or is there another who leads the Sith? Troubling, it is.

The userlist says you are grounded. One thing I know of. If the Prezident is banned he will become stronger that you can understand. He will be part of the Force.

is nothing like a typical post... and you know it... and...

That did not warrant the attack you made on me with your wild accusations and false information. I will NOT allow anyone, ANYTIME ANYWHERE speak to me like that when there was NO justification in it. Like I said then, you got a slap on the wrist for going off topic. Forget your email to Tracy, you both still went off topic. Mike stopped going on about it and although critical of my response, was diplomatic and respectful in doing so. You were NOT.

Forget that I am an administrator. NO MEMBER deserves to be spoken to like that and then to be continuously taken the piss out of, all for telling you to stay on topic.

It is for those reasons that I would like an apology.

Since you prefer the word pissing as your forum sanctioned profanity I'll try to feature that word in my post even though due to some strange reason it's not considered offensive here. I'm pissed off because you keep implying that I am "pissing about" over boobs. As I said in that thread I simply replied to something Justin said in one post about me being obsessed with jewel's boobs. I post boobs not for my own satisfaction, but to humorously point out that Jewel is obsessed with boobs. She sings about them. She writes poems about them. She tells stories about them. She wears low cut tops and push up bras to accentuate them. Most of her artwork show them. I might not even notice them at all (obsession with boobs is not my thing - never was, never will be) if she didn't put them out there for the world to comment on. It was a completely unfounded statement on Justin's part to imply that I am obsessed with them, but I took in in the spirit it was posted - humor. All I did was post a reply to say that it was not true and tried to do it in a humorous way. There was nothing about "pissing about" to those couple of posts at all. It did not take away from the original topic of that thread, which as I recall was basically over. You Kiera took it far too seriously by even comenting about "pissing about." If anything you distracted from the topic of the thread by even make it into a big deal. Lighten up if you want people to keep coming back here. I wouldn't have even brought this topic up, but you decided to make an example our of me here, which IMHO is a piss poor thing to do in this thread. Why don't you take your idea that using me as an example and piss off.

Demanding a public apology and publickly judging if it is "sincere" enough in the forums is a childish way to run a forum. So is locking threads when people post things that disagree with you. It's like taking away your ball away when kids won't let you win. If you want to run a forum you should accept the good with the bad. Being a moderator shouldn't mean you get to win every argument. I'm sure the other moderators will jump in and agree with you. That's called kissing up. When things get out of hand escalating the problem with cracking down on "pissing about" is not the way to build a community. It just pisses people off. And not just the people you are talking about. It pisses off other people as well - ones who don't post often and ones who would say something, but they are afraid of being next.

Justin's posts's are not that bad. You underline the word "abuse" as the part of the E-mail that Justin got as the thing he did wrong. Why don't you put your self on probation because I consider bringing me up in this thread as an example of going off topic is "abuse." Especially after what I posted over there in the "I'm Done" thread. If you want to publicly crucify Justin I guess that's your right as moderator. If you want to suggest that I've done something wrong for defending him then you've got issues. Justin's right - you are taking this Jewel forum much too seriously. The only reason I come here is becasue I feel free posting both serious and funny posts. If I have to worry about not "pissing about" or I will get reprimanded then it's not really a fun place to be. I don't want to have to worry about getting my priveledges suspended because I don't understand such an arbitrary standard. I have tried to stay on topic in all the threads I post in. Everybody, yes even you sometimes makes a couple of comments that some consider off topic. Typically we always return to the topic at hand.

Hey if you want public apologies, I want one too. Say you're sorry for making an example out of me. And banning Justin would really piss me off.

Mea culpa, I apologise for even mentioning you. I did not mean to come across as using you as an example. It was not my intention. However, it was Justin that raised your name first in his 'Why can't I edit my posts thread' but that's neither here nor there. I am still sorry for mentioning you here.

The nitty gritty details of the 'I'm Done' thread are not the issue here and I wasn't the first one to raise them here. The personal and agressive attack on me IS the issue. All I want is an apology for the way he attacked me with his comments in that thread. It then escalated. Had he not reacted to me in that way, this discussion wouldn't even be happening. I agree humour is a great way to diffuse tension but I felt, in my opinion, that the particular 'humour' was tasteless and not right for that particular thread. I am entitled to my opinion as every member here is. But no member is entitled to attack another with such aggression or abusive language and with false information. If he had spoken this way to another member, I would be reacting in exactly the same way.

Don't make my actions change your opinion of the JKF. I do not make the JKF what it is. You and the members do.

Also, where here did I say Justin would be banned? He has been restricted but he can still post and take part, he just can't edit his posts, profile or post images. I certainly don't want to ban him. As I keep saying, I like the guy, and you.

This is not about you or any other member for that matter. It is between Justin and I, and I would NOW like to take this privately as it is unnecessary to keep it public.

I want to see this end as much as anyone. All I want is a GENUINE apology for that personal attack. I didn't deserve it, no-one would. Nothing more. Then and only then, will the restrictions be lifted. It is a simple thing to do. I am not asking much.

BTW - I have never really considered piss to be a swear word. It is even allowed on daytime TV. However, if there are people here who think it should be, I will gladly add it to the profanity list

But this is really funny. Last year I was using the same cyber-cafe
to build the ASPCJ's 'Nothing Page':

but it wouldn't allow it... it came out as:

Well, I guess that was pretty much understandable... but the next edit was
nothing short of wonderful... here... check this... I wrote:

"Considering the Blender pics, the Divas Concert, her poetry,
the hilarious fashion disasters, comic hairdos, 0304, etc, she has
an incomparable track record... so, we shouldn't be too hard on Jewel
for this uncharacteristic period of lack of creativity."

This is a gem, Kiera... its gonna kill ya. As you you can clearly see, there is
nothing that could be considered rude or vulgar. But the inbuilt censor had
other ideas, and... come up with this:

There is some kind of editorial objection to the content of your posts. O.K. Let's assume that is the case. Is not allowing you to post pictures some how supposed to make you change the words in your posts? I'm afraid I don't understand the link between not allowing you to post photos and something you did in the past. So let's say you posted something objectionable. I saw your appology thread. Taking away your rights to post photos makes as much sense as making you pour a bucket of worms over your head. I for one would rather see a photo of you with the worms rather than have to listen to you babbling on about it.

Now, if I couldn't post photos, I too would go on a crusade to end all tyranny. That kind of thing can really piss* you off...

Seems to me that talking about The Planet of the Apes is more on track for making this fight go away, but if you'd rather talk about moderator abuse we can do that.
