Yet again... another prestigious accolade for our Jewelie Girl !!! :clapjoy:

Why is it that the ASPCJ is always the first site to present these scoops ???
The other Jewel sites should stop publishing useless concert dates
(that most Kilcherians can't get to see) and publish more substancial stuff.

amazingly, he's not lying about this one as she did win....BEST TAN RUINED BY A BAD OUTFIT....lol...it's hilarious! at least she was still voted one of the best tans...i can't say that yellow dress was flattering... unless it was in the dark like it was on stage....

by the way...no one's posting concert news b/c there isn't any....i don't post anything besides tv appearances....!

odd enough, i'm surprised u found something like this - do u search through google all day?

I am a Google expert. I've got at least a dozen Google Jewel news alerts, I search with all the advanced switches - inurl:, site:, link:, ~, and the other ones too. If it's out there I will eventually find it. It's a shame jewel is also a common word. You've got no idea how many articles there are about "jewel theives" and "jewel of the nile."

All day. No that would be too extreme. One hour per day maybe. :wacko:

If you have dates of tv appearances, concerts ect in advance of the likes of us euro people, could you please post them up on the calendar?

We cant pay you for such a service, but it will help us over the ocean as we are always the last to hear any latest news.

Personally I think Jewel is taking some time off. It must be nice taking a break between touring. I'll try to keep an eye out for you, but there really has not been much to report lately. My news reports only report old stories right now. I know you can always look a little thumbnails of jewel at events at

You can view jewel at events there, but if you want the full size photo you would need to pay them big bucks. I do not have membership, but you can at least see Jewel at fairly recent events. She does get out, but has not been performing much lately.

Wow...and it's actually true. And relevant... (OK, maybe I'm lying a little.) I thought B?yonc? would be voted most orange? I mean, look at her in that L'Oreal commercial.

well...interesting enough...they didn't say jewel's tan was bad...they actually liked it...besides what she was wearing part.....add a dark yellow tan to a bright yellow outfit...and we got neon big bird!

Some of you are tired of hearing about it, but I was actully there at the Divas show with my wife. We got to move up to about the 10th row. I was actually on TV for about a second.

Those dresses were was a real eye opener under all that television lighting. I was just now thinking about all the controversy over the Janet Jackson live TV issue what would have happened if that yellow dress had malfunctioned on live TV. :o

Today in Oz, is yesterday just about everywhere else.
Yep, it's true. Just check on the net and see what time it is in Oz...
and, you'll see that it's tomorrow here already.

That's why the ASPCJ gets all the big stories before Michael...
coz today, here in Oz, is yesterday elsewhere.

So the stories I'm writing about today haven't happened yet elsewhere,
coz everyone else is still living in yesterday.

question about the bunny page..... it says image to the right...JEWEL PERFORMING @ THE BUNNY AWARDS.....can't you come up with a picture that we don't already know that's a lie.... (since we all know that was on the TODAY SHOW TOYOTA CONCERT SERIES)? i guess that's the only part of the page that bugs me, rest is great...can't wait for your next page!

Did anyone notice how old this news is? It says August 5, 2003 at the bottom of the page on the Bronzed Bunny Awards page (http://www.bunnyonastick.com/bunnytalk/new.../0805_tan.shtml (http://www.bunnyonastick.com/bunnytalk/news/2003/0805_tan.shtml)). Oh well, it is news, nevertheless. We're desperate for Jewel news. Or the Intrepid Prez had stowed it away for a month where they might've not been any new Jewel news.

Hey, I only found that site last week, but you bring up a good point. If Jewel doesn't do something soon we'll have to be forced to make something up. :P

And if things get real bad we might even have to bring back the discussion about "Jewel's Worst Concert Ever!"

'Indignant Kilcherian Apologists' were also surrounding the barracades
of the ASPCJ (hate-mail)... I feared they'd breach the walls.
But we fearlessly held them back. :omg:

I tell ya... I thought that thread was never gonna end.

Sadly, that thread did nothing to enhance the view that the
ASPCJ was a fair and balanced site. lol

Well Justin, it was easier to not answer the STUPID question coz I don't remember all the useless stats of the old forum. I wasn't one for keeping note of the most popular thread, I did have a life...however, I do remember that particular thread being somewhat popular but only coz people kept going off topic.

I'm not asking for you to remember all the useless statz...
I just thought that a mod might know something significant like:
which were the most popular threads.

Perhaps knowing stuff like that might help to generate future discussions.
Much like a web site I guess... find out which pages work and which one's don't.
Webmasters don't think that is so "STUPID".

Heaps of threads go "off topic" but the 'Worst Concert' thread generated
some really serious emotion... and... some pretty interesting points of view
when it remained 'on topic'.

At times it displayed just how passionate some people were about Jewel...
and I was particularly impressed by how knowlegable some fans were about Jewel.
That thread certainly exposed some raw Kilcherians feelings.

But... if you prefer "Which is Your Favorite Jewel Album?" type of stuff, then yeah...
let's ignor "STUPID" stuff that arrouses a little passion.

Kilcherians are encouraged to "post often... stay vocal" and yeah...
to show a little interest to keep a forum buzzing.

But you never warn them that:
if they show more interest than average they might be told to: "Get a Life".

why do you say that....i was just answering the question as to pertain to when she created POY...you never know...she could like a diff. color now...i mean she does pick blue a lot for her albums, like THIS WAY, POY, and 0304.....? blue's my fav. color, but green is a close second.

I think green would go great because of the color of her eyes, I also liked the bronzed look on Spirit. But i agree, i think she also has a thing for blue. :o so do I.

hmmm...i dunno...i didn't buy the stand single... i bought STAND single with the 8 dance remixes...that's just a gray background...not metallic. the other stand single with the image of, um...my site has, it has a blue similar to my site, that's all i can see from the outside.... but nothing on the single more than i have now, so i didn't get it!

But I wouldn't mind if Jewel went with wine color on her next album...green would just be meh, you just can't redo the copper/gold color, and I think there's been enough of blue. But we'll see.
