I just wanted to say thanks so much for this forum. It's awesome
I submitted a message to the official Jewel Fans site letting them know what I think about making the forum a paid-for feature. I'm a bit angry
But I wanted to say thanks so much. I know that you would like more members to be here.. I just wanted to say that when I checked the site from a search engine I couldn't see the smileys in the posts and the topics and I just thought that it didn't look appealing for a forum. If you could correct it so that people could see this without signing in I think that it would help attract people. In my humble opinion :)

I agree. This forum has five times the action as the official forums.

Aw...you guys. You know we do it for you! However, just to clarify, Dave and I had spoken about a chatsite a long time ago. Dave always played around with the idea and so it was inevitable that something would be done.
The forum was Dave's idea so credit should be given to him.
Bravo Dave!!!
(not sure about the smilies thing - leave it with me, I will check out some stuff, I am sure it can be sorted.)

I have to say though that Kiera has done as much, if not more than me. I do the easy stuff.
Also if this forum is to have more and more impact we still need a lot more members, so please keep sending the URL to any friends that you know who like Jewel's music.

little bird, you rag on dave soooo well, are you sure we aren't long lost best friends?
"Ok pops. Go back and sleep in the armchair in your cardigan. I'll forgive you this time but only coz you're past that special age.
Don't forget to take your teeth out before going to bed and not to have too many fluids. We all know what old bladders can be like."
ya, it must be hard for your dave keeping up with the sarcasm, what with those old arthritic fingers and all...
as for me, my birthday is sep. 6, i will be 28 this year...marching on towards 30, and i just recently discovered that the music my husband and i listened to in high school, is now considered oldie but goodie material!
so...perhaps i am getting older too dave...but your still muuuch older than i!

Eibhlin, LOVE your name! Very Celtic!
Strangely enough, Dave and I only know each other less than a year. I am not entirely sure of the exact length but we are a get on really well and our humour is very matched so it is all just good fun and slagging matches. Dave gives as good as he gets! Though Dave you seemed to let me away with it this time.
(it's the age perhaps)
Take care
