I love her music too but don't have every album. I definitely plan on building my collection though.

i have SURFACING and AFTERGLOW - though i wish she'd release something more often than what she does......1997 for one and 2004 for the other is so...so...wow....or was that 2003

Michael, Afterglow was released in late 2003

I still dont own her first two albums bcause im not that interested in anything before Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.

Has any other Sarah McLachlan fan noticed this: ON her records all of the songs are mostly slow soft rock/ alt. songs and when in concert they are played as fast heartracing rockk songs... the difference between jewel's live and record stuff is only the energy and some musicial changes, but when sarah plays a song like Building A Mystery, World On Fire, and especially Hold On, she practically changes the whole song except the lyrics.

When you consider all of Sarah's other albums, Afterglow was pretty dissapointing. You should get her first two albums, especially Touch, her debut.

Touch and Surfacing are my two favorite albums of hers.

I have every album. Even the one with techno remixes of her songs. (It's good for writing papers to.)

I have to say my favorite song will probably always be possession.

i would have to agree that afterglow was a bit disappointing at first, though it did grow on me a little - especially the 3 first songs - i just love that song STUPID ....lol

shes the girl who started Lillith Fair, the festival that Jewel performed in, go to Sarah McLachlan Official Website (http://www.sarahmclachlan.com) to learn more and listen to her music.

David, I went to Barnes & Nobles and I was listening to Touch and Solace and I decided to buy them. Oh, and you will be proud to know, that I also picked up a copy of Shawn Colvin's A Few Small Repairs, although I havent really had time to listen to it that much. lol.

So about the comment I made earlier.... anyone else notice that?
