I'm Xabier from Spain and I'm a fan(but not fan-atic) of Jewel since 1994, the firts time a heard her sweet voice singing (I still remember it) Hey little sister...

The next first thing to say was... forgive my poor english, I'm spanish and I really don't speak english as I'd liked to do (improbe it Xabier, c'on improbe it)

And the 3rd "first" thing to say is that spanish feel abandoned by Jewel, or by her company, I think I haven't heard a song of Jewel on radio since 1999 or more, same watching her or her music on tv.... I really miss it..

Well, I'll read some around, and I'll try to participate here

All of us european fans feel a little abandoned by jewel... sometimes I wish she would send out a bulletin just for us Europeans... but I guess we should all be a little lauder so she knows she has a lot of fans outside the USA and that this new album isn't only country but more - it's a true jewel album we all have been waiting for! so I don't know let's start a petition for Jewel to come to Europe, what do you think?

Yeah... its such a pitty.... I never heared ANYTHING of her on the radio!! The only thing was that the musictvchannels played intuition a lot when it came out - so i get to know jewel.

Unfortunately, because Jewel has done country album, it is unlikely that she will come back to Europe for quite sometime. I'm hoping she hasn't forgotten us here in Europe completely and come back again sometime in the future.

Wicklow??? that's north to Wexford isn't it? I went to Wexford when I was 12, really really long tome ago, to stay in summer to learn english in a really kind family. I love Irish accent...

Yes You're right, it is. Actually, when I was growing up in Dublin, we used to get spanish students stay with us every summer on a school exchange program. Did you come here on something similar to that type of program?

Yeah, it's was something similar, it was organized on our scholl and some Irish children came here the same month.... a great experience
