Tracklist and Europe release questions answered

Upon checking with Jewel's manager as several of you have been asking this question both here and on the JewelJK.com forum, there currently is no confirmed tracklist.

There have been some lists found floating around cyberspace but I can safely say, that they are fake tracklists and the real one is due very soon.

Some of you have also been asking if the new album will be released in Europe. Unfortunately, there are no current plans to release a physical CD of 'Perfectly Clear' in Europe; however it will be available on iTunes which is available worldwide. You will also be able to buy the CD from some websites that ship internationally, e.g.Amazon or Barnes and Noble, so everyone will be able to get a copy of the CD when it comes out on June 2nd.

Yeah...I thought it would be too early for a tracklist... I don't think they'll give us that information! we'll have to wait for the album which is good so it's even more interesting...
And I knew they wouldn't release the album in Europe...this will be jewel's first album not released in Europe? Is that a step back???

I'm sure the album will do great in the US, but I don't know what will happen to european fans... I mean, i used to hear again and again on the radio from time to time... I'm not even hoping to hear "Stronger woman" on the radio cause they probably don't have it....

Then again, Pieces of You didn't come out in Europe until 1997, right? So maybe if there's a mainstream single, a European release could happen...just a year or two later?

So im really sad that they dont wanna release it in €... but i do understand..
because no one really knows jewel here, only a few freaks like me ;) and some real good musiclovers.. but most people havent ever heared of jewel.... and so no one would buy the new album because know one knows her, shes not touring here, she wasnt ever in austria or italy or similar.. so i do understand. So theres just one solution...
JEWEL PLEASE COME BACK TO EUROPE TOUR TOUR AND TOUR =)!!!!

Nope it was released. Bought it at my local record shop in 1995 and saw it in several others around Dublin at the time so it wasn't a special order or anything.

Atlantic is a big record company right? Valory is too small, so they're waiting to be sure the album will sell is they release it in Europe

also, It might be that at the time (1995) she was doing music that was also popular in Europe...I noticed that country music isn't that popular in Europe...Few people now about american country stars...Taylor Swift i totally unknown in Croatia at least... Tim Mcgraw also, while his wife Faith hill is known for some of her hits but as i noticed it really isn't that popular at least where i live...

Too sad that no physical CD will be released in Europe.
I dont like to download stuff from the WWW but this will be the only way to get the songs.
Sure I could buy an import CD but this will be more expensive.

I live in Switzerland and it's exactly the same here. Country music isn't popular in Switzerland and even less in France. But I sure will buy the album from amazon.com (I wanna have a physical copy ! :biggrin:)

Yeah...I want a physical copy too:) I have all of her CDs and it would not feel right not to have this one... I wonder what the cover will be like? Are they planning a photoshoot? Shouldn't they have done it already? It's like 2 months left until the album is out... to me it seems like they'll use GAINW pics...
