It's true !!!
I just got a phone call from the USA and...
life as we know it will NEVER be the same !!!
So... I'm not too sure how to break the news to you all. :(
OK, OK... I'll just have give it to you straight and hope you can live with it.
SHAKIRA HAS CUT HER HAIR !!! :omg:
I was stunned... shocked... it couldn't possibly be true.
But yeah... Shakira now has shoulder length hair. :(
One of my main reasons for living was Shakira's hair... and now it's gone. :(
I'm seeing a shrink and taking medication for the time being.
Hopefully, with suport from family and friend, in a few years
(when Shakira's hair grows back) I'll be able to face the world again.
So, I'm feeling a little fragile right now and would appreciate any support
from fellow Shakirians... or even caring Kilcherians.
May her long wild hair rest in peace.

i always thought her hair was invalid - b/c she dyed it blonde to make it in the US music market...... all i can remember was hearing shakira's hot and this and that - they didn't say that on spanish via satellite when she was the way she was before the transformation - now that's truly - selling out!

Right now as you read this, in other coutries which are politically unstable and are undergoing the ravages of war, people are dying for lack of clean water, children are dying from diseases we don't even think about. Families are torn apart by war, fathers forced to fight in some fanatic's war. Women are being raped by soldiers, children sold into slavery.
And you're worried about Shakira's hair?

by the way, they are doing voting on vh1 - and the videos this weeek include shakira's new song - yah - it's doing poorly on voting 1% of the votes are going to it and there's only 5 choices - 40% is going to lisa marie presley - i myself chose lisa - i'm guessing this latest shakira album isn't english or something? plus - i didn't think she could get any sluttier by dressing up in dirt - without that transformation - she would've never been successful in the US market in the first place - i wonder what will be the next single for shakira - that is if they realize no one's playing it!

She looks a little like a lizard that has spent to many years baking in the sun, but the hair is still the same as ever. When I was a kid the Farrah hair was all the rage. Today, I think they call it Shakira hair. Some day Shakira will be old too. I just hope Shakira stays out of the sun when she is young or she too will be a raisin. She'll be a raisin with a cute sexy accent, but a raisin non the less.
You're lucky you have not been subjected to Farrrah's recent reality show. That woman is more brain dead than Ozzy Ozborne. I don't know what the million dollar man did to her, but there something wrong. I watched her show once and just sat there thinking, they actually gave this woman a TV show?
Shakira's hair is Justin's raisin d'etre. I heard it through the grape vine. ;)

ya, i saw a shakira bit on mad tv quite some time ago, i think they pretty much made her look like a floozie, and a flaky one at that, but atleast they didnt portray her as stalking britney spears trying to shove her tongue down her throat like they did with the madonna parody, so it could be worse, to be honest i tend not to watch mad tv much anymore though, so who knows what they are doing now.
I think Shakira is a pioneer in the field of spray-on pants.

Now when it comes to hair, I think she goes for that unkept, I've been up all night dancing hairstyle. It looks like she doesn't do anything to it, but probably has a full time hairstylist in her entourage.

Exactly! Shakira doesn't look naturally like that and there are women who have much more gorgeous hair out there but don't have so many people work on them :angry: She just has a lot of money and a lot of people working behind her!

as for the unkempt look, my friend pattie had the same look, but nah it doesnt necessarily involve professional stylists, just ALOT of really thick wavy hair!

she looks best in the very top picture in the babydoll type shirt, i like the natural look better
