Fellow Kilcherians

The Kilcherian Day of Reckoning !!!

Another chance to win the 'Jewel at the Vatican' DVD :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/jewelfan33/JewelDVDScan.jpg

Yep... the ASPCJ have got 3 more DVDs to give away. B)

Here's a review of the prize:
http://www.geocities.com/jewel_australia/JewelVatican.htm

And... there are heaps of clues if you wanna read the story,
or... if you can't be bothered...
just click the link at the bottom of the page to go straight to the comp:

http://www.geocities.com/jewel_australia/CompCluesStory.htm

Now... to ensure that the comp is run perfectly fair and square:

Tracy (Angel Eyes) will be judging the 1st prize,
Craig will be judging the 2nd prize...
and the ASPCJ will award the 3rd prize.

How fair is that ???

So... BEST OF LUCK Kilcherians :luck:

Easy... Justin ;)

They are excellent question coz I was able to answer them---well most of them anyway. Some are a bit too cryptic for me this time of the early morning.

But I'm not entering. I've won already :clapjoy:

Hey Kiera

You can still enter...
and if you win a second DVD then you can give it to a New Jewel Forum member. :)

Go on, Kiera... give it a go... the previous comp was too easy. Scared ??? :P

And Mike and Michael (previous winners)... give it a go too.

Easy... Justin ;)

CONGRATULATIONS CRAIG !!!

Yep... Craig has won a 'Jewel at the Vatican' DVD by brilliantly demonstrating
his extensive skills in the noble art of Kilcheria. !!! :clapjoy:

:bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

Ummm... but I won't tell ya how he answered this question:
"What do the Corrs and Jewel have in common ???"

Even after EXTRA CLUES the ASPCJ received the most pitiful, useless
and totally pathetic answer.

But... I would NEVER humiliate Craig by publicly revealing his answer.
(Unless, of course, someone has some good Jewel bootlegs to trade for it)

Well anyway... Craig quickly redeemed himself with this question:

"Jewel has an impressive total of 3 Aussie gold singles & 1 platinum single.
Yet one of Jewel's singles sold less than 2,500 in Australia... which one ???"

Craig was the ONLY Kilcherian (outside of Australia) to answer this
question correctly !!!

So... how impressive was that ??? B)

Well done, Craig... CONGRATS AGAIN !!!

Easy... Justin ;)

CONGRATULATIONS PRINCESS ANGEL EYES !!!

Yep... as to be expected, our Kilcherian Princess sent in one of the better entrees
and... is the 5th winner of a 'Jewel at the Vatican' DVD. :clapjoy:

:bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

Firing from the hip (without any research) she just belted out one correct answer
after another.

Although sadly, there was the occasional blank:

*** PUBLIC HUMILIATION ***

Perfectly demonstrating that she could make a complete mockery of the
Law of Probabilties, our Lovely Princess decided to have a stab at:

"Jewel's least successful Australian single ???"

I wept uncontrollably (and vowed the ASPCJ would never run another comp)
when Tracy answered:

"Who Will Save Your Soul" (Jewel's massively successful and ONLY platinum single)
Good try, Tracy... but err, yeah... that was Jewel's most SUCCESSFUL Oz single.

*** END PUBLIC HUMILIATION ***

But Angel Eyes demonstrated extraordinary Kilcherian knowledge when answering:

"Three of Jewel's major projects were never released in Oz... what were they ???"

Proving the question to be totally useless, Tracy even named a FOURTH !!!
So... immediate redemption granted to our Lovely Kilcherian Princess.

Well done, Tracy... congrats again !!! :)

Eternal Love, Princess... Justin

Hey, there was a number! For some reason I got confused and thought that it was in the million mark, not thousand. So, blame it on my strange brain. :P

This reminds me, since you humiliated me by posting this, then humiliate Craig and post his answer(s?) for The Corrs question!
:devil1:

Intrepid Prez

This was the question (with the "number") Tracy:

"Jewel has an impressive total of 3 Aussie gold singles & 1 platinum single.
Yet one of Jewel's singles sold less than 2,500 in Australia... which one ???"

Craig had no problems with it. As I said before, Craig is (still) the ONLY Kilcherian
outside of Oz to get this question right. B)

But yep, Tracy ... you certainly have a fair point... why should Craig escape
public humiliation with the 'Corrs' question that you answered perfectly correct ???

Well Princess, its like this... Craig's answer was so absolutely hopeless that if I
revealed it I'm sure he could never live with the cyber-shame.

Worst still...

we could both be held responsible should he take drastic measures...
like... cyber-suicide !!!

So Princess... could you live with that ???

Eternal Love, Tracy... Justin

btw Princess Angel Eyes... you forgot the 'Heart Smilie'. :(
How come you keep forgetting you promised me Eternal Love ???

I'll fess up Angel Eyes, fair Princess- I had no idea what Jewel and the Corr's had in common except for what I learned in 5th grade health class and I don't think that was the answer the ASPCJ was looking for. So I was given a clue that it was an ocean....Hmm.... an ocean, I pondered,....Jewel, The Corrs and an ocean...?? :dunno:
So thinking that the Corrs were from Ireland and Jewel from Alaska, the Arctic Ocean seemed to be the common denominator of those two land masses. Well I was ridiculed from the Prez for that one
Turns out the answer he was looking for was Atlantic- as in their record label.
But technically, aren't I correct based on the clue provided? :dunno:
Thanks much to the ASPCJ for the contest and the DVD, it was awesome getting the package from Australia!!

You know something Craig ???
I never thought of that... you might have a point there.

Umm... so, what I'm gonna do is... add 1/2 a point to your score. B)

Fair enough ??? :)

Easy... Justin ;)

Okay- take the 1/2 point away Prez....
Technically it appears Ireland is bordered by the Northern Atlantic ocean not the Arctic....
Kiera- up for a geography lesson in this international forum!!?? ^_^

Ohhh! That's it? I figured it was something totally and completely absurd, but that's just me. :P And um, I know that my answer was off the wall, but my brain still thought that the number was thousand and not million. Though, I know that the question didn't make much sense with that in mind. Oh well.

It was still good getting the DVD. :D Mainly because it confirms that you're an actual person. :P It was kinda funny... when my mom and sister saw it they thought that it was from my other e-friend from Oz (he's a Jewel fan also). He's sent me letters, post cards, pictures, CDs and a couple other things for my birthday, Christmas and whatever day, so I had to tell them it was from another Aussie friend. :) My other e-friend is another reason why I'd like to go to Oz. ^_^

Oh, and here's the missing heart smiley Prez. And a couple more because... well, it's love!

It is the North atlantic and the Irish sea that surrounds us.

What did you think I was ???

I had to tell them (your family) it was from another Aussie friend.

Ain't it about time you told them that I'm not just "another Aussie friend"
We've exchanged a vow of ETERNAL LOVE !!! for godsakes.

OK... I'll announce winners 6 and 7.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

Canadians George and Stephanie... (they shared the same entree)

and... Melissa fom New Zealand.

(ASPCJ Visitors)

Both of these entrees are (so far) the highest scorers: :clapjoy:
33 out of a possible 36 !!!

*** Public Humiliation ***

The romantics George and Stephanie guessed at this question:

Q: Jewel is sorry that Jesus died for her sins. Therefore, what has she sworn to God ???

A: "No idea, is it not to make another 0304 type dance record?"

Well actually, that's appropriate repentance... but not the answer the ASPCJ was seeking.

*** End Public Humiliation ***

And... *** Public Humiliation for Melissa ***

Q: What is the connection between Jewel and Christina ???

A: "They both dressed like tramps for their latest videos"

Umm... quite true Melissa, but not the answer the ASPCJ was looking for.

*** End Public Humiliation ***

Anyways... congrats again to lovers George and Stephanie... and Melissa. :)

Well Kilcherians... we still got 2 more DVDs, so it ain't too late to send in an entree...
but remember, if you win... your worst answer receives: PUBLIC HUMILIATION !!! ;)
