It may seem strange but I was watching TV late one night I seen Jewel in an interview and sing a song, not really knowing who she was. That was over ten years ago, I was struck by her inner beauty and could not help but notice a natural beauty of simplicity, her crooked tooth. I mused how could that be in Hollywood? Everyone in Hollywood has perfect teeth, bleached bright white, so perfect, so boring.
When she began to sing I stood, silently, amazed at the passion embodied in the words of her heart. Ever since I have longed to hear more from her beautiful heart, nearly every song better than the last, revealing the most beautiful soul I have ever known.
Though we have never met it is my desire to dwell within her heart, in harmony with my creator. Odd isn’t it someone who never seen me or met me knows me better than anyone and at times even myself.
Thank you Yvl for believing in me, for believing in mankind, despite our short-comings, someday our paths may cross then; I in person can thank you for bringing such beautiful words of light to an often cruel world, which luminate it with loving kindness.
