View Full Version : Unedited Message Board Problems.
Anybody else having trouble getting onto Jewel Unedited's forums? I can log in, but if I click "message boards" I get this message:
We're sorry, but you have reached this page in error. Please note that you cannot bookmark the message board for this fan club. You can only enter the message board by first logging into your appropriate fan club.
If anybody else has this issue I'll E-mail the managers.

Yea, I know what you mean Michael. If you don't have membership in the "Official" forum then you should know that there is probably 4 times the amount of activity here in the New Jewel Forum. Still there are a few people who post there. I try to get as many as I can to come over here. ;)

I hardly ever look in that message board
I hardly ever go to unedited even though i'm paying for it... they haven't put anything new up in over a month!!!! :angry:
I'm almost afraid to post my opinion on that any more over there. I've complained about that so many times. More media, Free official forums, and discounted premium tickets is what I want.
I post occasionally.

Hey, $30 is almost nothing - less than the cost of a talk of gas OR a magazine subscription, OR one month of Cable TV, OR abou the cost of one T-Shirt at a typical rock concert. And that's what you get for your $30. Almost nothing. He he... :P
They pretend like they give you a good deal on tickets and sometimes they do. For example I went to the VH1 Divas show and the tickets were not that expensive. They gouge you on the 5 star premium ticket packages becasue they are the only game in town and they know it. Ticket sales are all about money and fan club tickets are no different. It used to be you got good tickets at a good price, but not any more. They charge a premium price for premium seats.
So why join unedited? Here's a list of reasons to join:
1) Because it's just not that much money and if you don't like it you can complain in the official forum until your face turns blue or the other fans complain about you. It's like therapy.
2) You owe it to Jewel for all she ever did for you.
3) I heard a rumor that eventually they will some day send you a membership package that includes something that might just be almost worth the price of membership. Five Months and I'm still waiting.
4) Because the forum is really boring without anybody to talk to. You owe it to the other fans to join. Be a team player!
5) Because the Intrepid Prez is not a member yet. You can complain about him all you want there and he won't know about it. It's the ultimate exclusive club!

Seems to be gone again. I'll see what I can find out. All I get is 'you have reached this page in error' then suggests I login, which I have.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Yea, that's exactly what happens to me.
It's happened on two days so far that I am aware. I've tried refreshing my browser, using another browser, rebooting, logging out then in of unedited. Nothing so far seems to work. Both times it happened it just came back by itself the next day. It's up today again.

You're not the only one. Moderator or not, almost nobody posts there at all. I think it will be like that until they make it free again or Jewel releases another "pieces of you". ;)

I keep telling everybody I only joined for reconnaissance. I find out how much it sucks and save all you people money by not having to join. I post anything worthy of passing along in the FREE new Jewel forum.
Don't worry Justin, my list is in no particular order. I'm sure plenty of people have joined unedited for reason #5. Think about it this way. If you join unedited and two people quit because of you, then you're still one ahead. The ASPCJ deserves all the prestigious awards that it's ever won. my opinoin is that once her new album comes out everyone will start talking again and being more active, the EDA list will start having almost 20 posts a day and the forums (including unedited) will all have something to talk about except gibber-gabber (my new word)
thats why im waiting until her album comes out before i join unedited. i think that if i do that, then the forum and all the extras will be worth it. right now we are just all waiting around for the album. theres not anything that interesting going on.

Yeah, I use a program called WM Recorder 10. It cost like $30, but that was back when I worked at KMart *SHUDDERS*. You just open the program and click on the link in the browser and it captures the streaming media.

Hey, if you want to talk about injustice why don't you complain about the fact that membership costs $29.95 for US citizens and $34.95 for everybody else? Why should it cost more for foreigners? Maybe they should call it "Jewel Unequal" instead of "Jewel Unedited"! :angry: :wacko: :bang:

OK. So you can do it. I had a freeware program years ago that I saved all the Jewel Realaudio from jewel fansites. Thanks, I'll look for this program. I'm sure I don't want ot pay $30 for it though.

Oh you mean it costs more to not ship the membership package to Australia than it costs to not ship them to the U.S? I get it now. Duh. ;)
So far Kiera is the only person in the world that I have ever heard say they've got their package. ;)
