Hi all

I'm pretty new here, so its nice to finally come to a place where people love her as much as I do :)

I have all of her albums to date, and both DVDs. Which leads me to why I'm posting here. Ever since I got my brother to burn the songs off the DVDs onto CDs, I've always wondered if anyone has copies or has albums from her live concerts?? Theres so many songs I've downloaded that arent on albums, but then I realised there are so many more. Is there anyone knows of where I can get ahold of these CDS? Or a copy? I will pay money whatever. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be so grateful. I love jewel, especially hearing her live.

This would be like all my christmas's at once !!

Thanks for your help in advance ...

Alex

Welcome to the forum, Alex.

The only official Live CD's you'll find of Jewel's will be Instant Live's on eBay (though they can be outrageously expensive!).

As for other recorded concert material, Jewel's fans refer to it as Angelfood (http://www.jewelwiki.com/pmwiki.php?n=Angelfood.HomePage). You can always send an e-mail to the Jewel Mailing List (http://www.quackquack.net/jewel/threever.htm) seeing if anyone wants to trade, or click around on some of the user pages (http://www.jewelwiki.com/pmwiki.php?n=Profiles.HomePage) on the wiki and see what concerts people have listed there. Send them an e-mail and explain that you're just getting into angelfood and ask if they would do a blank and postage trade (where you send CD's and return postage and they send them back with music).

Never ever ever buy live CD's. Purchasing bootlegs is illegal and the only one gaining anything is the seller for work he/she did not really do.

Don't be shy about it; if someone has their collection listed, it's because they're as excited about live Jewel CD's as you are and will in most cases gladly help get you started. Good luck and welcome to the world of Angelfood :)

First of all...a big :welcome: to the forum! Always great to see newbies.

Secondly, JewelWiki is right. He offers excellent advice. You'll find the best way to build a collection is through like minded Jewel fans. We would never pay for bootlegs but are more than happy to pay for anything that directly contributes to Jewel! We would never advise downloading any of her albums for free. You are much better off supporting the artist by buying her CDs so if there are any that you need to get, you should buy them.

As for live unreleased stuff, requesting anything specific is fine however, we can't allow links to downloads here as that can have copyright issues and we could be help liable. I hope you understand that.

Anyway, thanks for joining and welcome!

Take care

They don't come up very often, but when they do, they sell for well over $50. Your best bet is to add a favorite search and have ebay e-mail you when items get added that match the criteria. :)

Don't leave out Angelfood, either! :)

I have an instant live CD of her from Milwaukee. I'd like to get others.

She said during the concert the CDs would be on sale from the instant live site. So disappointing they never did go on sale there. Did the deal between her and IL go sour? I would have loved to have bought her other concerts. I enjoy my Milwaukee album a lot.
