I Got My House!!!!

Through a lot of blood, sweat, tears (from shear stress) and not to mention loads of cash, my fiance and I finally got the keys to our own home today!

We have a lot to do and we are taking this weekend to move. There is an hours difference from each other so it is quite a task.

But I just thought I would share this personal news of mine with you as I am jumping ecstatically all the time with total excitment that will no doubt deminish when the first mortgage payment is due *sigh*

There is a side effect though, I won't have broadband for a while so checking online when I am at home will be a slow and no doubt, painful process on dial-up until it becomes available. Don't worry your pretty little heads, I'll still be around!

Well great for you. I'm happy you bought one. Now you can buy curtains, furniture, appliances, garden tools, lawn mowers, rugs, closet organizers, drawer liners, wall pictures, and everything else you need to make it home. And don't get me started on the insurance bill, gas bill, water bill, phone bill, Cable TV bill, electric bill, ...

Don't get me wrong. Buying a home is the best investment you will ever make. Congratulations!

Ok, so I am all moved in but I still don't have a phone line let alone broadband so I will be squeezing a lot of viewing into short spaces of time.

I used a tank and a half of petrol since Thursday afternoon going back and forth with stuff. With some help of course from family and friends. I have reached the conclusion, that we have way too much stuff!

Anywat, the DIY party is happening soon. So bring your paint brushes and overalls and I'll reward you with hot dogs, burgers and veggie pittas!
