I've tried checking with the Rosemont theatre but they haven't responded. I am now waiting on Jewel's management to get back to me. Hopefully they will be able to give me a date of when they'll go on sale.

Tickets will go on sale on September 5th. They will be available earlier to Rosemont Theatre members but I haven't got that date yet.

I called the theater and there is a presale going on! Check ticketmaster. Also, I believe this performance is with an orchestra again. Pretty sweet!

You have to be a member of the Rosemont Theatre. Otherwise, you can't get the password.

I will be at this show for sure. I'm not that far from rosemont. All I'll have to do is take the blue line to the rosemont stop and i'm right there! I seen the last show in Joliet with the orchestra, so I'm wondering if this will be completely with the orchestra unlike last time. Either way I'm sure it will be a great show!
anyone want to meet up? Haven't really met up with anyone from here since i'm new and all.

i was at the theatre a few months ago to see nelly furtado. the theatre is awesome on the outside and in the lobby, but when you're in the actual theatre, it feels like you're in warehouse... ANYWAYS. ugh. im in milwaukee and it was really hard to find the theatre. We followed the directions and still got lost. It's kinda in the middle of a business district and parking isn't cheap at all. I think we paid 30. So if you're traveling for the show, make sure you don't get lost!! I'm pretty sure that I'm going, unless she adds a milwaukee date the next night, which she usually does...

well, the show starts at 8:00p.m. I was thinking about having a glass of wine in my car in the parking lot before entering. What time do you think we JKF members should meet? 7:00? or 7:30? I'm sure they sell drinks there. DOn't you think we need an hour to laugh, drink, take some snap shots, have fun just hangin' out? or is a half hour enough time? And where shall we meet? I've never been there before. Should I hold a sign up with someone's name or just something like "JKFM here"I"M SO EXCITED I CAN"T WAIT!I have fluorescent pink paper - I can make a small sign?

I don't think they can legally take your camera, they can only fuss at you for trying to take pictures. I would keep your camera on you and use your judgment about whether the security will fuss if you take pictures or not. :)

I didn't see a pink sign by the ticket booth =( but i was walking around and taking bathroom breaks (had a couple of drinks)...but i'm sad that i missed you all!

But anywho....to the show....WOW!!! I'm a bit sad that the show wasn't longer but very happy I was there. I even got a guitar pic after the show...walked up to the stage and after everyone took her water bottle and pics i asked a stage guy if their were anymore and he said no. =( He disappeared for a bit and came back and gave me a pic! Maybe Jewel gave it to him for me....lemme go ahead and think that -so don't kill my moment. lol

I'm posting pics on my myspace now and I have a couple video's that I should be uploading to youtube soon. I'll let you all know.

For the record, Per La Gloria D'Adorarvi WAS supposed to be played, there was confusion as to whether or not Jewel was gonna do a second encore, because I saw that music on the orchestra member's stands for "Per La Gloria D'Adorarvi." However, after Chime Bells, Jewel just hopped off stage and left the orchestra members looking really confused and then the lights came on and some 90's rap music, I like MC Hammer, came on REALLY loudly.

Also for the record, I got Jewel's autograph after the show. She signed everything, but didn't stop to take pictures, but was VERY nice and I thanked her for playing "Carnivore." Smile

Great show! I wish it had been a bit longer though... I keep saying it was my first time seeing her, but technically it was my second, since I did see her in Kansas City once at an all-day pop concert... but she seemed kind of pissed to be there and it was right before 0304 was released... she talked about how she didn't feel very good and that the new album was coming out (with some sarcasm) as she went on to explain how she'd rather be singing country. She sang "You Were Meant for Me" and yodeled a bit and left.. was like 10 minutes... but yeah.. great show.. I wish I had stayed to try and procure a pick though, that would have been sweet :)

It was a good show, but not the best I've been to. I guess my last show was something out of the ordinary in Milwaukee. I think I like her best solo acoustic, but the orchestra sounded great and I was so excited she played Enter From the East!!! A bit disappointed that a request was wasted on "Cold Song" though. It's cute, yes, but c'mon! And I think that was one of the best versions of Foolish Games I've ever heard. It gets better and better with time.

Lol yeah, I was excited to hear "Enter from the East". What I really wanted to hear though, was "Break Me"... I tried to yell as loud as my little voice could. lmao But really, I didn't see any of the guitars with a capo on the right fret for that one, so it probably wasn't an option for her at the time. And yeah, foolish games was great =D

I thought the show was amazing! Carnivore was my favorite and Thump Thump was the best I've heard her sing it so far. It was good to meet the JKF members. I got a few good pics before an annoying girl next to me started to make a scene about my camera bothering her....I told her I'd turn it off if she would shut up during the songs and that pissed her off even more...thank god she ended up moving. She walked in 20 min. late anyway and was trying to tell me I didn't appreciate Jewel's music enough. Oh well, when she moved the woman in front of her told her to quiet down as well. haha All in all a great show!

Sounds like a really nice lady ;). I was at a Gwen Stefani concert recently and a girl in front of me was getting really mad when people were pushing in front of her. It was a standing concert, what did she expect!? One of those people that would be better off to stay at home and watch the DVD. They'd still be complaining about something but at least the real fans wouldn't have to listen to them. Ok, rant over. Sorry about that.

Your best bet is to upload your pictures to an image hosting site. I've become a big fan of divshare.com, but imageshack.us and mediafire.com are all great hosts that will create a thumbnail of the pictures for you and give you code that you copy directly into your post.

Try some of them out, you'll like some more than others. :)

If you're on the main reply page, there's tiny little YouTube button. Click that and give the video a title in the box that appears. Then in between the brackets that come up, type the code that's at the end of the YouTube videos...
For example your first video has the code QLru-zkg7SE from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLru-zkg7SE

I'll post your first video, and you do the other two so that you can get practice. :)
