Wow! I'm listening to VIOLET EYES on jeweljk.com from the Lake Tahoe concert she just did. 3rd time in a row now and still wiping away tears. This song is awesome and sounds so beautiful here!!! I hope she puts VIOLET EYES on the next album. Nobody can pull my heartstrings like Jewel singing such a sad song. Jane

It is one of my favorite songs ever, especial for the meaning behind it. I can't listen to it on the site though from my work computer and my home connection is slower than a slug. But I have a couple of live versions from way back when that I always listen too. If I get the chance it will be interesting to see if it sounds very different than when she first wrote it.
