Thanks Emilie. I was looking for that. I watched several commercials on the one website, but did not see Jewel in any of them. Until the one you posted. Thanks again.

I can't view the video, I'm going on firefox, which is probably why. Can somebody give me a summary of it? :dunno:

Download Quicktime (http://www.quicktime.com). Unfortunately I had to download iTunes as well as for some reason the standalone player wouldn't work in order to view it.

I have, but it still doesn't work for me. This computer is probably too old. Hopefully at some point I'll catch this on tv. But thanks ;)

I think it seems cheesy to sell or buy these on e-bay. Here's an article about people selling fake charity wristbands.
Fake Wristbands (http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/news/s/146/146040_cashing_in_on_charity_wristbands.html)
They were doing it for the Lance Armstrong ones and now I expect the same problem with these. If you want to make sure that the charity gets the donation then go directly to the charity to get them. If you can't afford them then get a couple of friends to kick in together with you. Personally I like to make sure the charities I donate to are using the money for causes I beleive in and don't spend large sums for fundraising. In general I prefer local charities over national campaigns media campaigns.

i doubt they are trying not to buy it from the charity first - how else are they going to get them besides making it themselves - and that would be too costly - i'm betting they bought them and are planning on making a profit on what they already bought - yah....the money they paid goes to charity - but not the money that the people will pay extra for them on such programs for ebay. so technically charity gets it - just not the extra

I saw the commercial on TV today, but it was a shorter version and they took out Jewel and a couple of other people. Maybe I'll catch the whole one on TV soon. :)
By the way, I wouldn't buy those wrist bands on ebay. They're for a charity, so I'd like to make sure that the money went toward the charity itself and not someone you don't know saying that it will. That's just my opinion though.

...... The one seller on Ebay is seeling i believe like 5 of them. I don't know her usernanme but If she got them through the charity the chairty was already payed for. If you look at in the way that $1 already went to charity then your just paying for it.

True, but if you buy them from the one.org site yourself, then that's more money to go to the charity. When you buy them from ebay then the money just goes to the seller. It may be "just a couple dollars", but it all adds up in the end.
Either way though, I like Michael's idea also... even if he was just kidding ;)

Kiera, you can delete the ITunes program from your PC. It did the same when I downloaded quicktime. Kind of a two for 1, Thanks Apple! But I removed ITunes right after. :)

I couldn't get a funny screen capture of Jewel anywhere in that video... but check this one out:

He looks like that puppet thing from 'Tales from the Crypt'. *shudders*
I didn't even have to do editing on this.
