I am going to do a regular spot of general trivia but more focused on questions that will hopefully give us a better insight to each other. A kind of 'Getting to know you'. You know, the 'Pieces of you' we don't know and generally don't get the chance to know.

A dear friend of mine Sherry gave me the idea and it is very popular for her. Thank you Sherry.

So I start this round of 'Pieces of you' with the following questions.

~ When was the last time you ate ice-cream?

~ If you had to choose between a safari or a cruise, which would it be, and why?

~ Name a famous George

~ How many languages can you speak?

~ What's your favourite piece of clothing?

Ok, I have never seen a photo of you so I don't actually know what you look like, but your answer has just helped me immensely. Might I say, how comical you look to me in my head!

Hey, I could have said several times a week for the last 20 years. Would that be non-specific enough? ;)

I didn't pick the dog. It was a question. Not an answer. Remember my answer to question 2 - I'm not an animal person. :P

You got that right, but I do remember that my freshman French teacher was really really cute.

~ If you had to choose between a safari or a cruise, which would it be, and why?

Safari... I'm a member of about half-a-dozen animal welfare/rights organisations...

By George !!! I don't know any. :(

Oooooo. All this and French lessons, aussi? Didn't I mention that I had a crush on my freshman French teacher? And yet you toy with me. ;) Je T'aime Emilie.

Ahhh, but it could never be. At least we'll always have Paris.

But Emilie

They both SOUND THE SAME when you SAY it.

Go on... give it a try:

"Un jor Justin est alla premina sun chein."
"Un jour Justin est all? promener son chien"

See... when you SAY it. It's EXACTLY the same. :)

The question was: How many languages can you speak?
Not: "How many languages can you write?"

So... after only two lessons, I can SPEAK French PERFECTLY...

How Intrepid is that ??? B)

Truckloads... Justin ;)

~ Name a famous George

George Lucas. Why do I have Star Wars on my brain? -_-
It's the power of advertising!

~ How many languages can you speak?

Just English, but from Kindergarden to 3rd grade I learned some French in school. I forgot most of it now, though.
It's a pity. We learn so much in the really younger years but without keeping those skills in practice, we lose them and that's the time in our life when we are more likely to remember things like other languages and so on.

~ What's your favourite piece of clothing?

A nice pair of jeans. I'm boring like that. ;)
Not boring at all. I quite like the more simpler suggestions. I'm the same. I have a really comfy pair of jeans I just love wearing.

Well then that means you were the last one here to have ice-cream. Was it tasty?

~ If you had to choose between a safari or a cruise, which would it be, and why?

cruise - not so sure about hanging around outside - especially near lions tigers and bears oh MY!
Well safari's are well secured. I am talking more along the lines of the typical big time South African Trip of a Lifetime style Safari holiday. If that helps with anyone elses answers.

~ How many languages can you speak?

1 and i somewhat fake spanish too b/c i took two years in HS - let's just say it was my worst grade ever!
I knew someone who did that with German. Then they met a German person and their secret was out. Be warey of that.

Neither do I. Was lactose intolerant when I was born. I kinda grew out of it when I was about 7 but I never really accepted milk or milky things. Although I do have ice-cream sometimes but very rarely.

~ If you had to choose between a safari or a cruise, which would it be, and why?

Safari, I love animals and I think they're the only beings that truly know the meaning of life.
That's a love outlook on it.

~ What's your favourite piece of clothing?

The shirt I made with a really funny cartoon on it.
Is it 'clean funny'. Maybe you could share it with us. Otherwise, I believe you.

A safari those arealot more exciting
I'm sure cruises are exciting in their own way too. But I like the safari idea more too.

~ Name a famous George
Boy George
As a child, I adored Culture Club. Chameleon was my favourite. It gave birth to my love of Boy George but only in the early years. I have no idea what he's doing with himself nowadays. All a bit weird for me.

~ How many languages can you speak?
Well english . I know a little potruguese
I don't come across many people who know that language. How did you you come to learn it?

We call those a 99. Never knew why but that's exactly what I had about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

~ If you had to choose between a safari or a cruise, which would it be, and why?

Safari... I'm a member of about half-a-dozen animal welfare/rights organisations...
so I'd sooner see some wildlife than stare at an endless ocean all day.
I'm surprised at how many people are choosing this option. I really thought more would go for a cruise.

~ What's your favourite piece of clothing?

Levi jeans. Since I left school I've never owned a
serious/proper pair of trousers. I've only worn jeans since.
Nothin wrong with sticking with what you know and love!

George Castanza is a ficticious character - one of the sidekicks on Seinfeld. The actor's name is Jason Alexander.

Yeah, I blame my dad since we had to move here so he could manage a theatre without going back and forth so much. I loved that school. :( Now when I tell people here that they taught us French in Elementary school, they don't believe me. I wonder why. :dunno:
