I remember when I bought my first ever autographed poster of a celebrity, I realized only afterwards that it was a fake. Since then, whenever I buy any memorabilia from eBay (which is very, very rare), I am very suspicious.
Obviously, the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is not worth anything because there is no standard or true regulation out there.
So my question is, is there any reputable seller on eBay that you buy from? There is so much Jewel stuff out there, I'd like to know what I'm getting.
Thanks!

I've never bought anything autographed by Jewel on there. I have her autograph that I know is real because she signed it at a meet and greet. I don't trust ebay most of the signatures on there don't look like the autograph I have of Jewel. Anyone else know?

I only ever bought 2 autographed items from ebay. 1 was Jewel related and was bought from a fellow fan who had photographic evidence of Jewel signing the particular item. The second autographed item I bought was from a charity auction from a legitimate charity. It only had authenticated autographs backed up by photographic evidence yet again.
Otherwise, I don't trust anything that is 'so called' autographed on ebay.
The wording must be read very carefully. Often it shows a photo of Jewel signing an autograph but not showing what she is signing so you don't know if that's the item you're getting. Also, they often say 'Genuine Autograph' but don't say it is 'BY' Jewel, just that it is a genuine Autograph of 'Jewel' not 'FROM' Jewel.
This to me, means that it could have been written by anyone writing the name Jewel. heck I could write the name Jewel and sell it on ebay and say it is a genuine autograph of the name 'Jewel'. It doesn't mean she did it.
But otherwise, I don't know of any authentic autograph stores on there just yet.

For me its to dangerous for buying a jewelautograph from ebay or something because the most items are faked. But i bought many beautiful jewelposters on ebay ^^.
I bought a signed print of Sean Connery (but not as James Bond) on ebay. But it was a stmaped one, I didn't mind too much, it only ran about thirteen dollars iwht shipping; still have it actually, in the study framed on the wall. Took me an hour how to figure out the frame, it was funny, it required some funny kind of tack. Never forget that day!
Anywho, back on topic. I've only gotten into Jewel from January of this year when she did American Idol. SO, I don't think I'll buy one just yet. But it's maybe inthe cards somewhere, if it is really autographed, that'd be even better.
